Zouri, can you look and see if you have three yellow wires coming from your stator? If you need help with that let me know. Rich

Right hand side of a GY6 engine behind the fan and flywheel.. the wires usually come out on top of the black fan cover... Okay.... so I got my new switch and put it in... still doesn't start. Same symptoms as before. I ran the switch tests and got the same results... this must be an issue somewhere else I would think... unless I got unlucky and got a bad switch again. Also, the wires coming from the stator are a red/white, then in a bundle red, white, green and yellow.

Okay... so I just re jumped with the solenoid, and this time my turn signals and lights worked, as did the horn.... but when I would honk the horn it would struggle, like it wasn't getting enough power, then when I held it in for a second it choked the scooter off. I'm so confused. Lol

I think you have a ground issue somewhere.. and unfortunately you will likely need a multimeter to find it...

rule out a ground problem John Just to be sure, should both clips be on the negative terminal? And what should I be looking for?

Success! I was scouring for any potential bad grounds, and the one from the battery to the frame, the bolt had rust all over it... I cleaned it up and sanded, and it works!
Out of curiosity, I hooked the old switch up and it did not work, so it must've been both issues. I'm so glad to have it back together. Now I just need to fix my kickstarter, and probably adjust my a/f, and see how it runs!
