really unreliable scooter?
Why yes, and I'm going to follow you around with this for a long time.
Funny you say that.....my buddy has had more issues with his morphous then I have with any of my scooters. He has issues getting parts, or the dealer has to keep it longer because they have trouble getting parts.........screw that! He's looking at a Piaggio MP3.Useless scooter he says. I agree.

an open letter to Kracker and KZ,
As of this moment ,there has been no report that Morphous has failed, quit running due to parts failure. (the recall is not included because it was a "set up" deficiency, the fuel pump wire harness was not malfunctioning, yamaha manufacturer situated the harness wherein it catches rainwater and serves as a channel for the water to reach the fuel pump assembly.( for me it's not even an issue, i can use one tube of silicon sealant worth 99cents to seal the harness coupling. no biggie)
there was one morphous owner in Hollywood Ca who wrecked his morphous because he was tailing the truck in front of him to close, it was late when he gripped the brakes then smashed. There has been no 2006 morphous owner yet who, overhauled their morphous engine, either top end or complete overhaul. there were two tho who replaced their 250cc engine with a 400cc from a majesty scooter. one guy from austin garaged his morph for 11months,and when he started it, it started right up. the morph ECU's, relays etc. are sealed, meaning no moisture, condensation or dust can enter it. that's why i'm saying. morphous can take any challenge, a head to head with any two wheeled vehicle on a all day long ride no turning off of the motor, be it harley, crotch, indian,or even leno's Y2k.

kracker, i know that friend of yours, he was a member of the MorphingAmerica morphous group, he was in an accident , sharp curve in a hill, he lost balance and spill. the side mirror was damaged and the front cowling. he ordered those parts from webbike, since it's japan base, the order arrived after 3weeks. but his morph still runs perfect without side mirror and front cowling.
was never a mechanical issue, nice try tho!! ....... next? anyone else?!!!

aaand the very reason why 2 of the biggest morphous groups namely MorphinginAmerica and Morphous yahoo group got dissolved is because there were really no problems to tackle with the morphous, its all about modification, there were no mechanical problems to solve, no one in the course of its existence ever a morphous rider posted a problem, it got really boring so members left and find other forums where there are toooo much issues with their scooters, most of us went to chinese scooter forums like here, the 49cc scooter forum, scoot prof, its the ride , etc etc, because mechanical issues are overwhelming in chinese scooters, we morphous owners thought that somehow we can learn from these chinese scoooter problems, the problem is very rampant.
and rapidjim, you should remember that you dont only sell scooters perse' youre also selling the "problem" that goes with it,, that in the end it turned out you even have to pay the buyer for the humungous headache that goes with that chinese scooter you sell.
my goodness!

Of course you dissolved. How long could the ten people who foolishly bought such unreliable devices keep a forum going? Especially when six of them bought Honda Helixes and sold their Morphi for scarp.

I would rather have a Yamaha 250cc than a Lanhai 300cc. Kz you have a Honda 250 and you want to say a Chino 250 is better??? You know what...For what they cost they are great and give some a chance to have fun that do not have the money for more costly machines.

Wait a minute, I never said my Fashion was as good as a Japanese scooter in the way you guys define good.
Let me put all this in perspective. I know for a fact that a Japanese anything is crap next to any BMW. The Lords of the Deutschland use aircraft quality aluminum and fasteners in their bikes. Given equal treatment and care a Beemer will outlast anything from Japan. Now is a Japanese scooter or bike garbage? No.
Because a smart rider performs maintenance and parts replacements on their Japanese bike and also treats it accordingly. A good rider will keep his Honda Gold Wing as long as any BMW K1600 GTL. But believe me the components and engineering on a Beemer put a Honda to shame.
Now, in most quantifiable ways, is your Reflex, Silver Wing and Luke's Oscar Meyer Weiner better? Certainly. Not that you would know it but take the CDI system on most Chinese scooters. It's old school but it works. You guys have ECUs and computer controlled functions. Yes, Japanese metal is a step above but Chinese metal is no worse than old models Japanese metal. Among those older metal bikes is the Kawasaki Z-1, Honda CB 750 K-1, Yamaha XS 650 and Suzuki GS 750. How's that for crappy bikes?
If you have the slightest inkling of mechanics you can feel your machine. I know where my Chinese stuff is happiest and ride there. Could they go faster if I flog them. Of course. I ride to make them last.
Now let's take Luke's stupid challenge. Could I ride all day on my Fashion as he can on the Sausage? Sure. But we would ride on my terms. 60 mph would be top speed. I know he can ride faster all day on the Hoagie than I can. I wouldn't even attempt to match him for speed. But I'd ride all week with him at my speed and without a trailer.
So in my world a Chinese scooter is as good as Japanese. For you, Luke and numerous others a Chinese scooter isn't good enough. Oh, and yes, there's a 250 Honda in the garage. I don't ride it. Is it better built than my Fashion? Yes. It's also way better built than the 250 Big Ruckus I owned.

Alright!!! case close.....another self admittance.
ps: since day one, you're giving everyone the impression that the chino scoots are better than the japanese, italian scoots etc... i'd say, wake up, snap out of it.,,it won't happen, at least not in my lifetime. ;D

or this?

How about this?

A Chinese scooter is just as good for a person like ME!!!!!
Obviously not for you and many other people, but I'm not other people and I have 51 years of riding experience under my tires.

Well... I would like to have a new Caddy in the garage and a new Victory too. Not saying they are the best but would love to have them. A lot of us have been riding for 50 plus years... Not bashing Chino scoots Kz I think for the cost they are ok. I think my mini van is ok too.
Magoo - Let's beat the dead horse again and put it on Luke Trailer Riders trailer

He won't explain. Like all petty dictators he engages in the "Big Lie". If you tell somebody a lie enough times and repeat it over and over people eventually believe it. Since he's so far away I can't take him up on his challenge and show him my Fashion is BETTER. He knows it too.
