That is a nice one and CHEAP, the good thing about it is that you have a ramp to roll the bike up on it. A lot of them do not have a ramp and cost more. I had one similiar but the WHOLE carrier pivited down with an extension on it. It was all a solid aliuminum piece even the bed and had with a cog for the wheel to fit in but that was $400.00 buckoos. i have almost the exact one. with the ramp, etc got mine for $40 off of craigslist it was kinna rusty. so a lil time with a wire brush and then i painted it silver to match the "bolt on" hitch i bought and painted silver. They look so much better then the black. also if i dont have the scoot on it { like im going to transport someones scoot} no one will walk into it, or run into it. The wheels sunk right down into it and i might have gotten away with no strap downs BUT NAW couldn't risk that
But now with the van 'impounded' the hitch is gone and the 'carrier' is just sitting in the basement.
BUT YEA IT WORKS GREAT
EDIT:::: oh after thinking i realized that when the unit slid into my receiver if i took the pin out i could slide it in about 3 more inches so i took the whole deal to a local metal shop and they drilled 2 holes on both sides so the unit could slide more into my hitch it felt and looked more secure that way and i got a couple more inches of clearance OH & make sure u get a locking pin

I have the exact same carrier for use with my RV. The only issue I have with it is the direction of loading. The throttle being on the right I have to reach over the scoot while trying to push and guide it up so I disassembled the carrier and turned it around. I had to drill a couple new holes for the reflectors which of course wound up facing the RV instead of the rear. I have not tried it yet in this new configueation because of the season. I might also have a bit more problem loading because it is also higher being on my RV instead of a conventional vehicle (steeper incline and harder to reach the throttle).

i could usually find some place where the ramp would be just a slight incline, i also bought long bolts to put thru where the front wheel would roll over the opening, where the back wheel would sit, and after the front wheel went over that spot i could balance the scoot and pull those 3 bolts out, so the back wheel, would 'sink' down in and then when unloading do the exact thing to get the front out. understand?
