Hi,

Please forgive me. I know I asked this question before but for the life of me I can not find the post.

My question is, I have a 50cc Trans it with less than 50 miles on it. Since the beginning, this bike would start right up. After riding it for about 5 minutes or so it loses power and cuts off. The longer I ride the bike, the more it loses power and cuts off more frequently but does start right back up again. Would this be the electric choke? It is a brand new bike. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if you guys have any suggestions on were to buy 50cc unsealed carbs would be greatly appreciated. I looked on Ebay but not sure if they are sealed or not.

Question, when this is about to happen does the motor make any sounds or sputters or hesitate or something. Trying to determine if it is electrical problem or fuel delivery problem or motor problem.

Also when this happens do you keep the throttle open or do you play with the throttle up and down or what.

Hi,

The scooter just shuts off without noise or sputtering all without warning, which I found myself lucky to have not been in much traffic when it shut off. I also notice that it slows down greatly before it stops. Also the throttle is in the position of giving it gas if that makes since. The bike just cuts off while riding. The more I ride the more it loses power and stops more often. Hope this helps.

Does you carb have a accelerator pump on the Side where the throttle cable is?

Here is one cheap with a pump and the fuel ratio screw available so you can adjust it.
