Name is Bob Tercero from Palmdale, CA. 62 years young. Just switched from a Yamaha FZ6 to a BMS TBX EFI 260 CC. Can't get away from riding but I want to ride at a lower pace! Love the price on these Chinese scooters!  |

Welcome bobiii,
Good to have you on the forum, there are some folks on here with the 260cc scoots on here.
They are good running machines with the EFI's, if you get a chance put up pics or pics of your ride.

That is exactly what I got! Red or as they call it "burgandy". So far so good. No problems and I like the power.

About 5 years ago I started buying scooters, I had been riding a suz bandit. Decided to ride a little easier and besides my knee was in bad shape. I am 70. I sold the bandit in 2010 after 7 years on it and I know for a fact when you are at red line in 3rd gear you are doing 140mph. If I had not sold it I would probably still be riding it since my knee has been fixed. Probably a real good thing I sold it as I have noticed my re-action times are slowing. This is a way more grown up type forum here compared to some of the others out there. Welcome ...........................john

Thanks to all! I also had to please the wife since she kept saying I was too old to be riding motorcycles. Well I finally convinced her about scooters and I'm enjoying myself even more. Now I can ride slower and see the sights!

I started riding in 1958 with a scooter and went to riding motorcycles and now am back to scooters. It will be 55 years riding this year for me. john
