HELP WITH FUSE BOX WIRING PLEASE!!! By gnargnarnate (Read 741 times)

Hey i have a 250cc Roketa scooter that will no longer turn on. I have checked the battery, with a tester, and its still registering 12V. I located one fuse, close to rear wheel with cylindrical metal piece that goes into a rubber harness, and replaced the fuse which is a 20A (yellow). When i turn the ignition key to the "ON" position nothing happens, the lights do not turn on/the gas gauge does not raise to show amount of gas/the speedometer doesn't light up/and when i try starting the scooter it doesn't make any sound at all. I've looked for other fuses thinking that is the problem but cannot locate any. I have tried looking up electrical diagrams online but cant seem to find one that will explain anything, only pictures and prices. Any ideas at all what the problem could be? Thank you for reading

The 20a fuse you found was it on the SOLENOID? I have put up a picture of a Solenoid.

Find your fuse box it will have about 4-5 fuses. Now look under the box there should be a BLACK WIRE going to it. CHECK that wire it is fed off the IGNITION so turning it on the BLACK WIRE should have voltage feeding the fuse box.

There is another fuse by battery.

Well if his also has a FUSE coming off the battery then From his description of the problem I would say that is the problem child. That one most likely feeds the juice to the IGNITION switch, like most other scoots do.

Yea, if I pull the fuse from aside the battery when my scoot is running, my scoot will shut off.

Alleyoop yes the 20A fuse is on the SOLENOID, the fuse was bad so i replaced it. Where is the box of fuses? I cannot seem to locate it.

If your scoot under the seat looks like this it is right there with a cover on it:

Mine looks identical to yours, however where your fuse box is on yours, mine just has an empty square where nothing is but is in the shape of the box. If that makes sense

If it looks like the one rich put up Pull that cover in back and see if it is behind there by the taillights. Some also have the fuse box in the glove box.

I don't have a fuse box, just one fuse at battery and the other fuse at solenold.

Well then his may not also have a fuse box, I remember someone saying one does not have a fuse box, I think it was if the scoot has a HELIX is doesn't have a fuse bot but the one with the LINHAI does.

What motor does yours have RICH? that will solve the issue BOX OR NO BOX(HAHA).

Ok I found out which has the fuse box and which does not.

The 250B with the HELIX VERTICAL MOTOR has a FUSE BOX and the LINHAI like yours does not.
