I was clicking around the internet when I found this on Honda's web site. powersports.honda.com/2014/forza.aspxWhat the heck? I never heard about this coming. At a price around $5600 goodbye Piaggio BV350 and Kymco GT300i and Downtown.

you just dont know how superb that scooter is.
For the same amount as the new Honda CB 500 it better be good. Especially for the price of CF Moto Jetmax and $1500 change.
Besides, that's not why I ride. If I wanted utter reliability on two wheels there are scads of motorcycles on Craigslist for under $1000 that will outrun, out handle and, with bags and a windshield, out usefulness even a Yamaha Morphous. Owning a Chinese scoot is about learning its strengths and weaknesses, finding its "Sweet Spot" where the engine is happiest (Mine is 58-60 mph) and learning why a torque wrench, impact gun and a good socket set are a man's best friends.
I had this argument with a Burgman owner years ago and got kicked off of Scoot Dawg. Here's what I've learned since then. Japanese, Taiwanese and European scooters are great for people who need them. If I wanted a fast, reliable two wheeler, Luke, I'd have kept the Kawasaki. The lack of interface between me and it was more than I could take. With the CF Moto I feel like I'm back on my old Kawasaki triple. "Will it foul a plug, will all the plugs go at once (they did one time and I had to push it a mile home), how fast can I cruise and keep the engine happy." I'm a mechanical guy. I don't play the radio in my car so I can listen to the engine, I drive a sixteen year old minivan because I want to see if I can keep it moving to twenty and beyond.
Turnkey, expensive scooters just don't float my boat.
