That's what I am thinking.Not the cdi, tried 2 different ones. I am thinking the timing. Will check the valves, but I wouldnt think they would be that far off considering the bike has only 1000 miles on it.

Your getting Spark and gas, so if the valves are really tight NO COMPRESSSION no fire or timing.

Thanks, think its a combo of 2 different problems so I am going to look at them one at a time.

Yep when you do the VALVES you can go and look at where the timing mark is pointing on the flywheel and if you do not know take a picture of the flywheel and the pointer and put that up.

Here you go use this just follow the instructions below and WHOLA:

5. Click on your picture and click on OPEN and it will load it

8. Right click and click copy

Picture of the fuel resavoir. Stuck a new keihin carb on it today and still nothing.

Where are the hoses going to and going from it attach to from that thing? It could be a the gas tank vent reservior some scoots have them.

One comes from the pump, one runs back to the fuel tank and then other goes to the carb

That is probably the the FUEL FILTER THEN.

Ok, you so replaced the carb and have you verified that the carb is getting fuel? The carb should have a DRAIN HOSE and a DRAIN SCREW either right next to the drain hose or some have the drain screw on the end of the Drain hose.

You can loosen the drain screw and see if fuel comes out of the carb then close the screw.
Is your carb:
1.A CVK carb(with the throttle cable on the right side mounted on a bracket)?
2. A Slider carb(witht he throttle cable going into the top center of the carb)?
