While it is running.. it is feed 5.4-5.7 volts through the plug

Great, we now know the ENRICHER IS BAD, Either get a new ENRICHER or CARB you make the CALL as they say. Alleyoop

I agree.. but just to make sure... I hooked up the enricher directly to plug... and same thing..Running..while it is hooked up to plug NO voltage... unhooked.. 5.7 or so volts

If the plug is LIVE with the motor running then your ENRICHER IS BAD.

it goes into main bundle of wires.. i am not sure where it grounds too....
I could easily run a jumper wire off my ground on the battery to it though....

I was going to suggest just about the same to run a ground wire to the frame and see if that is the problem. Give it a shot nothing to loose it either will work or not. If the reading stays steady then plug it in and see if the ENRICHER THEN EXTENDS. Alleyoop

OK.. dinner time... will eat then test....
but say yeah the enricher is bad... AND the connection is bad... will i have to jimmy rig the new one? I am guessin so.. but i will run ONE LAST AND FINAL TEST... thanks be back in hour or so

If both are bad yes, because the bad connection appears to be from the harness NOT the ENRICHER. But you will find out if the ENRICHER works or not. Alleyoop

Ok.. I have it all jimmy rigged up... the engine now dies due to lack of fuel.. I need to mess with the fuel ratio screw again to let it have some gas!! I have my varriator and clutch all off right now... so I am gonna reinstall them.. and take for a cruise! Wish me freakin luck!!

Fantastic!! Yea remember you turned the Fuel Ratio Screw all the way closed and it was still running at high idle BECAUSE the ENRICHER was always feeding it fuel. NOW that the ENRICHER SHUTS off the extra fuel you have to turn the FUEL RATIO SCREW COUNTER CLOCKWISE. Start with 2 to 2 1/2 turns counter clockwise from the closed postion that should be enough for the motor to start and run. Then you can fine tune it to get the highest idle from there. OK.. re-installed and took for test spin... STILL THE SAME!AHHHH.... so... i still need to adjust my carb to the best setiing possible... but i dont see it fixing my performance issue... What else could it possibly be? like an entire list of things... even if they have been said before

Well now that you have the carb working right, like I said your weights in the Variator you said you had 14s or so. Get lighter ones 12s and 13s that way you can try all 12s then try all 13s then you can mix them half 12s and half 13s for 12.5 combo. When you mix them you have to put them in every other one example a 12 next slot a 13 and so on. Lighter weights will give you more RPMS for every gram lighter than 14s it will raise your RPMS by 500-600 over your current rpms. Alleyoop Alleyoop
