I just don't get how 3 wheels in tandem would be better. Sure does make it ugly though.

Hey.. Thanks Alley.. I needed to pull the Vovager off so to make it easer to check every thing out and all the nuts and bolts and lube and all. Takes just about 5 minutes as they say to pull it and replace it is just as simple. I only found 2 loose nuts and bolts on the trike section and nothing on the scooter. The Silver Wing is so easy to service. Have a hatch to get to the spark plugs every 8,000 miles, takes 3 minutes to get to the radiator and even the final drive oil can be checked and changed in just minutes. Just have to re=pack the wheel bearings on the Voyager and a good cleaning than back together and ready for the road.

OK...She is all back together as a Trike, LOL... Took her out for a short ride than checked every thing out again. She lined up right on the money... I than took it out on a 24 mile run at speeds over 80 MPH, GPS said 82 and the speed-o read 84. Just a smooth as could be and plenty power to spare.

look better, lighter and faster without the trike kit. i think the trike kit weighs 250lbs by itself.
i have an idea, why dont you convert the trike kit to a mini garden trailer to haul some garden stuffs, fertilizers ,pots etc.
listen to me magoo, im a very practical and sensible person.

Luke Trailer Rider there is nothing sensible or practical about your Yamahammer line of thinking... However the garden trailer thing is a good idea

OK.... Today went to Brooksville and some shore riding and up past Crystal River for a total of 117 miles. The trike handle great and has power to spare. I find that when I travel I normaly do not exceed 72 = 75 MPH and is so indicated on the trip meter on GPS. I guess is a comfort zone for me. I did notice with a lot of local time in it too that I was only getting about 46MPG. Nothing like my Reflex getting 65 pluss MPG....
