Yeah and its a pain in arse, srs i have changed the cap of the coil and yeah im getting .9 ohms got new petrol and i checked the spark after and wasnt wet or anything. Still no spark with new cap.

Your secondary coil values are off, it's probably the coil.

Run the following test, unhook the Y/B coil wire from the CDI to coil and put your red probe into it. Hook the black probe to the negative terminal on the coil. make sure your kill switch is set to run, and set your multi to AC. Crank the motor and take note of the voltage. It should be 5 to 30% of the value you got off of your R/B wire.

If that value is OK it's probably the coil and you should order one. If it was me, I'd also order a CDI for testing purposes, they're not that much and handy to have around. If you had read all of my response to your message you could have saved a lot of time. The message clearly stated that you cannot test a CDI with a multi. Let me know how the test comes out. Rich
