I moved mine to about a foot from my carb going up from the pump. It is right by the CVT so I can get it without removing anything. Alleyoop

Good idea Alley thanks for the tip. How long did you have your trike before you changed your fuel lines or is this something you done right away? kalee

Looks like they would install a trap door under the front seat so you could access the fuel filter. kalee

The Trike I bought in March of 2009 and I have NOT changed any FUEL LINES or VACUUM LINES also the FUEL PUMP, Stator, R/R and Pick up are orginial. That yellow hose you see is the CARB DRAIN HOSE that I put on. Alleyoop

Alleyoop,My fuel filter is laying on top of the tank , if your standing at the back of the trike it would be on the right rear corner. There isnt enough room under there for me to move the fuel line so I guess i'm going to have to remove some body parts so I can reach it. Any suggestion's would be greatly appreciated. kalee

ON TOP OF THE FUEL TANK??? 99.9 percent of scoots have the FUEL OUTLET ON THE BOTTOM of the TANK going to a VACUUM OPERATED FUEL PUMP or PETCOCK. Are you sure you not looking at the VENT HOSE for the tank?? Alleyoop

The hose from this fuel filter goes into the bottom of the fuel pump, there is nothing on the bottom of my tank except a drain plug that I can see. I read some where on this forum that rapidjim stated a person had to start at the back of an Ice Bear to remove the body parts because they interlock with one & another. kalee

Fuel Filter

On my Magnum 300 I cut the fuel line behind the tank and than pulled the fuel filter and line thru the fuel hatch but pulled the plastic around the hatch for the gad filler. I left that short line on from the tank to the filter than nibbed to a new line and ran it thru the gas fill hole to the rear of the tank than placed anew filter so it would be an easy change later. Would change all the line if ever I pulled the skin off later.
