I have this voltage regulator I want to put on my tomos moped that runs on a mag. meaning it uses no battery I keep blowing light bulbs a LOT the bike does have a 70cc kit and I think by going faster turning more RPM im producing too much voltage but I don't know where to install this can anyone show me how and where to install this?? What did you do take the battery out? If you did that is why it is blowing the bulbs the Regulator/Rectifier needs the battery so it does not send to much juice to the rest of the lights. Alleyoop

it does not use a battery its a 2 stroke moped that makes its volts with a magneto (bad spelling??) this regulator is supposed to regulate the volts so it don't blow bulbs cause the more rpm the more volts with the BBK it makes more rpm hence more volts

So the mag powers the lights and everything? I am familiar with systems using mags for spark, but a generator or alternator would supply power for accessories. Guessing that the mag is on the flywheel where the alternator usually goes (at least on larger bikes)? Boris
