It is a bit expensive. But, if you have the style scooter listed and have tried to adjust your carb after you remove the tamper proof cap, it is well worth the investment. I tried the other bent long tool shown and I couldn't get it to work. Too tight of quarters. You also have to remove the air box to make the adjustment. You can only get to it from the left side of the scooter. I bought my tool on e-bay for about 50.00. I'll check to see where I got my jet kit. I don't remember off hand where I got it. It has an assortment of 10 jets from 105 to 140 I think. It was very reasonably priced. I'll post again with more info on your questions.

Just a note. The flexible one won't work for this application.

Just a note. The flexible one won't work for this application. I got a flexible one relatively cheap, and yes they won't work. If I cut the bottom of my bit down to about half its size then it might fit. I did get a mini ratchet like Alley posted, and will try it.

Yea if they are straight even flexible they won't work because you have to bend the end to 90% and there is not much room under the screw very tight fit there. Some are able to get there fingers in there and use one of the short bits and do it by hand but it gets hot and burns you(HAHA). Alleyoop

Pull the needle and solder a knurled knob on it.

Ok. The jet kit I bought is here www.ebay.com/itm/330924146366?item=330924146366&viewitem=&vxp=mtr. I don't think I will get around taking any pics of the work I did on my scoot because I don't want to tear it down again. But I can tell you pretty easily what I did. Remove your air box completely from your scoot. Leave the u-shaped air intake tube hooked up to your carb. You install a 32mm foam filter on the intake end of the tube. I got mine from Scrappy Dog Scooter. There will be a tube from your rear gear box you disconnect from the air box. Just wire it up some where and leave it be or put a small gas filter on the end of it to keep contaminates out. There will also be two other small hose connections to your box. One is the crank case vent hose. That will be the fat hose with no tee in it. That is where you install the PVC. I hung mine on the frame work on the outside of the seat bucket above the head of the engine. You can leave it be or put a filter on that. When you put the plastic back on, no one can see it. The other hose connection will have a tee on it. One line goes to the canister and the other to the reed valve at the exhaust. I just put a filter on that and hung it up under the plastic out of sight. Done. So far the scooter has been running great. I bought it new 5 weeks ago and have 1600 miles on it already. 1200 miles have been without the air box because my oem air filter broke and was rattling around inside my air box and I have been waiting for the dealer to send me a new warranty filter. I don't think I will be installing it when I get it. I like it the way it is. Faster, quicker, and easier to work on now. When you rejet, you don't have to take your carb all the way out. Just disconnect enough stuff so you can turn the carb upside down and take the bowl off. I hope this helps.

NICE GOING RSW1158, Good job, you know you can take the canister emission stuff off and plug up the Vacuum going to it and have less possible leaks. Just about everyone takes the emissions off and have a cleaner straight forward setup. Vacuum hose to the FUEL PUMP or PETCOCK and "T" off to the ACV VALVE on the carb and that is it for VAC lines.
