The turn signals light when you hit the key fob start button. They flash when you hit the alarm and the dash indicator lights flash with the alarm and come on solid when you hit the start on key fob. I have replaced the turn signal switch. The hazard switch on the right handle bar does nothing. I have a new flasher coming but don't think that will fix it. Any ideas?

What happens when you put the key in and turn it to the start position? Signals still messing up? The alarm config makes them work different so that you know they are in the "remote start" mode.

When I turn the key to start position they do not work either. The only way to light the turn signal lights is with the key fob, either remote start (stay on for a few seconds) or alarm (all four flashing). I checked the black (hot) and green (ground) wires going to the flasher and have 13.3 volts with the key in the on positijon. When I put the flasher on a battery and check the grey wire coming from the flasher it is a continuous 18+ volts. That seems weird. I have a new flasher coming, the parts store just had the generic flasher with spade connectors.

Normally a Flasher is a Flasher and you can go to any auto parts store and pick one up just make sure it has the same number of connectors 2 or 3 as yours. They come in 12v and 6V yours is 12v.
What is so different on your flasher? Alleyoop

Mine has a plastic 3 connector female to the wiring harness. I can use one from the parts house that is male prongs and splice spade connectors to my pigtail to make it work but the correct one will arrive tomorrow. I'll try it and hope it solves the problem. BTW, I'm new to the site. I'm looking forward to it. As stated earlier I have the YY250T. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the info. Mine is a Jonway and from what I've seen I think it is a Ranger?? I'll peek in and see if it is vertical or horizontal.

Try this link and scroll down the page. You may find your scoot in the array of photo's. Not by Ranger but maybe by number. Anything on your title to help. www.roketa.com/product/productlist/2610.shtmlI just asked for a Roketa Ranger and found listings mentioning this particular scooter. www.roketa.com/product/2610/0/2658.shtmlThis one is the MC 54 250 that has the 244cc, vertical engine. If so, there are many of these around and I have one myself. Look at my picture. There is a cousin to this machine called MC 54B 250 that has the larger, 257cc engine with the horizonal engine. .

I installed a new flasher relay yesterday and I'm still having the same issue. Any suggestions?
