Nice, 18 poles which can handle more accessories without taxing the system. Alleyoop

40 volts. Good to know. I'm changing to an electronic generator and it puts out 48volts at around 3 amps. Can I plug it straight into the R/R with no problems?

This is Randy Pozzi's tech on the charging system. I agree with John, you should get about 40v AC at idle. My Pegasus and Fashion quickly escalate to almost 90v AC with some RPMs. There should be no continuity between the yellow wires and ground as continuity indicates a short.
TVnacman pointed out to me that there should be continuity between the stator's yellow wires. I had meant to say there should be no continuity between the "legs" of the stator and ground. That's what I get for posting at 4 in the morning. I have corrected the above post and apologize for any confusion it may have caused. Thanks for pointing that out John and you're banned..
