My instrument panel just went out. The background filament bulbs light the panel but all of the digital read-outs are gone. All other electric items work.
Suggestions?

First thing is check the fuse box that may have a separate fuse for just the digital part . If the fuse is good(YOU HAVE TO TEST IT NOT JUST LOOK AT IT) test each side of the fuse for Voltage passing through it. If good then check behind the instrument panel maybe a wire or ground came loose. Alleyoop

You should check the voltage on two wires coming into the LCD panel. You'll have to remove quite a bit of plastic to get to them. You'll have to get in there carefully like I did and just find your way. You won't have to tear down to the extent in these pics though. You'll need to expose the pigtail on the right and unplug from the connector on the left.
Multi the red wire in the connector, you should get 12v DC always hot. Multi the brown wire and it should be dead with the key off and 12v DC with the key on:
These power the LCD so make sure the juice is getting this far and then I'll tell you how to proceed further.
