Rich bought a very fine taiwanese scooter, and he knows best,,,i wish everyone else will follow....taiwan scoots are the trend nowadays,it is leveling to japan scoots in terms of quality and performance. Now you guys know your new years resolution....get rid of that clean shiny colorful scoot and get a sym,i have nothing bad to say about taiwan scoots ,they're big in Asia too,Sym has proven it's good quality by par. Again, congrats Rich.......and cookees ,your'e da' Man!!!

Thanks Luke. I would like to add that the Lance brand is made by SYM. In fact the m.c.o. says SYM....and the PA DMV issues the title naming it a SYM.

Well OK, but I have to wear out the Chinese stuff I have in the garage first. Say, oh, by my 70th Birthday when I buy the Taiwan made Kawasaki. Otherwise it has to wait until my 80th birthday. So my New Years resolution will be to buy a Taiwanese scooter by my 80th birthday.

yes KZ, don't settle for anything less on your 80th bday...you deserve the best.
you don't want to fix a chino scoot at 80 cum'on..bending over, wrenching here and there, taking off the plastics, taking apart leaking carbs., popping out tire valve stem(on a brand new scoot?omg)... cum'on...you deserve the best scooter at 80... listen to me this time..

Well OK, by the time I turn 80 I'll be sure to snag a Taiwanese scooter at least. Until then I still will have my tools at the ready for the rare mechanical problem.
