looks like the rpm must reach 5,000 before it initially runs from stop.

but i really want to thank cyborg because he is the only person in this forum who made KZ like the Vespa, ,, ,,before he really hates Vespa. he said vespas is a very expensive piece of , i dont wanna say it., and that the price is too much for the bike, he's rather get 8 units of chinese scooter over 1 vespa. , if you review his previous posts you'll see how much he malign vespas.

Once again you display your limited intellect. If Cyborg said, "I just bought a 2004 Vespa ET-4 for $3500" I would have thought nothing of it.....out loud. In my head I'd be thinking. "Are you crazy??? You can buy a brand new Honda PCX for that not to mention a used Kawasaki Ninja." He paid a crazy cheap price for a basically new scooter from a brand name company. Let me tell you a little secret Luke. You know the $2400 you paid for the bath tub? I could buy two Fashions for that much and ride 200 miles without excruciating pain like you have on the Morph. Plus, since Fashions are from a dealer originally, they come well prepped without leaking, corroding fuel pumps like a Morph. Not to mention they're copies of a much better scooter (the mighty Honda Helix) and will last just as long.

Let me explain this to you slowly Luke. The year your Morph sold for $5500 a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 was the same price. Guess which is a better bike? $4500 for a Vespa 150? A 250 Rebel or Suzuki GW 250 costs less. $5500 for a Honda Forza, Kymco Downtown 300 or Piaggio 350? A Honda CB 500 is the same price with better speed, handling and durability. The lead bike is an aprilia sxv 4.5 or 5.5 and thats the engine you hear Luke, i am stunned the scooter could stay that close,,my buddy got one of those aprilias and he can hustle that thing thru the canyons faster than his yoshimura prepped gsx1000,,he likes the xv lite and very quick,,the vespa is a heavily breathed on 2 stroke with a 4 speed,,,it's been heavily modified ,and yes they can be made to sing,,,most serious (not all) riders in the canyons ride supermotos,,why? very lite, quick and flickable,,

And as a note I agree with KZ... I almost burst a blood vessel in my head when I walked into the local vespa shop,,, crazy stupid prices on all the vespa line models,,, $10000 for a 946? Insanity,,, the only and I mean the only reason I have a vespa is I got super lucky,,, pure and simple,,,

haha, if a vespa can go 84mph it can beat my morph.... the limiter kicks in at 85.
i had it on max speed not even with full wot...

vespas might be running 60mph at 8k rpm... gosh!! you need to bring a fire extinguisher inside the compartment. lol or some bottled water. lol

Face it Luke, a morph can not lean over far enough to make the turns at that speed, much less has the power to accelerate out of the turns and no way be able to do a wheelie at speed, not even able to do one at any speed. On a track like that even a lowly chinese 150 will clean your clock.

enough of the pissing contest,,,,if the morph is such a grand speedster put up a link to youtube so we all can see the wonder bike in action,,,i couldn't find one,,BUT youtube is crawling with vespas and the so called lowly chinese scoots blasting around tracks all over the world,,,europe especially,,,,and these guys are not kidding around,,,they are fast,,,really fast,,,i couldn't even find one morph running bonneville,,,which i was surprised because i thought it actually would do well there,,,so please spare us Luke the tiresome durge of the morph being so superior to us poor common rabble that we all are and the scooters that WE choose to buy and ride
