Makes sense to me, I suppose we have it a lot better than some areas of the world for gas prices and decent roads. I would sure hate to put up with prices in uk.

i do like the idea of hybrids i really do,,,astounding ranges BUT,,,for all the feel good stuff the battery manufacturing is one of the dirtiest industries ,,,the prius is bad and you could make like 10 or 12 cars cleaner than one prius,,and thats not talking crashes and end of life disposal ( but i'm sure they'll figure out or have figured out to take them apart without poisoning the world),,,i hope they can make both cars and bike hybrids with batteries like cassettes that can be changed quickly and easily
