Sounds about right...I grew up in iowa and most all of my friends there rode. And been riding all my life. I would probably see a lot more riding if I still lived there. Around here it is way too hot to ride during the day in the hot summer.
Its a sham the biggest scooter distributors are in among the least riding states! I still contend that it's not right for them to be in california where the distributor can not even legally start the engine and test ride one of their scooters! (unless it is one of the few california allows.)

very interesting,,i did notice there are not a lot of riders in california,,,,it's weird to me,we have the perfect weather for it,,we do have quite a few weekend warriors,,but lean on the commuters

I'm moving to So Cal in April. I was there last week and saw a lot of scooters but mostly crotch rockets. I'm moving to the La Habra area. Anyone else from there?

i'm in the thousand oaks area,,other side of town,,but i suppose we could meet at the rockstore for lunch and do a ride if you wish,,,,
