who here has seen the best price on a 12v 7ah battery from an actual brick&mortar store. i want to get one locally. heres a pic of mine.

I haven't looked into it much, but I did find myself looking at the Wal-Mart website yesterday looking at these. They're only like $18 there.

i looked at walmart last time i was there and the small 4ah one was $40

Battery prices are all over the place. Places like wal-mart would probably be cheaper than any auto parts store.
But when you do find one make sure it is the same size that will fit in the storage compartment. Also find one with over 100 CCAs(COLD CRANKING AMPS). A lot of the cheap batteries the CCAs are under 100. The Higher the CCAS the better so if the scoot is hard to start the battery will not die after just a couple of cranks.

Alleyoop, what about a place like "Batteries Plus" or whatever your local battery specialty store is? I've never been in one, but batteries is their business. Do you have any idea how their prices stack up?

i use batteries plus,,,it's the closest to the house,,fair pricing,,good service,,,it's a win for me,,and had one hassle free return/exchange,,no questions asked,,just gave me a new one 2 months after i got it,,,nice

I use Advance Auto parts. The Advance Auto battery in my 150cc lasted four years. I put one in Rocket, the Big Ruckus, the 250 Yamaha, the W650 and the 150cc. None disappointed me.
