I just put in a new carburetor and cylinode it left me stranded yesterday.
when I tried to start it with the electric start the gas gage would go down making it look like the gas was on empty. this was after a day of driving it. I was wondering if anyone knew what the issue might be. I have someone looking at it and he is the one that put the carb and cylinode in it.
when I take off it did not rev up like it is supposed to do. I have no idea as to why it dose not go faster on the start but it takes a while after a stop sign or light, but as it is on the road it was running good and going fast.
Please if anyone knows anyplace I can get a carb graph of where the vacuum hose goes that would be great as well

The reason the gas gauge went down is because it is powered by the battery. So one of your problems is the battery is either not being charged or you have a bad battery.
As far as the motor not running good DID you adjust the new carbs fuel to air mixture? Best to take some pictures of the carb area and hoses to see if you have something connected wrong. So put up some pictures so we are not guessing as to what other things might be wrong.
QUESTION: when you turn the KEY ON and SQUEEZE the BRAKE and hit the start button does it spin your electric starter FAST or SLOW? Also do you have a MULIT METER(VOLT METER)? Alleyoop

New battery I turn on the key, hit the break the gas gage starts going down and the button has no contact at all no fire no sound period. He took the float in the carburetor out and cleaned it then it was running good when he first fixed it. It was running good and then it was doing what its doing now with the reving up at starts but worse. I have to wait for him to get up so I can take photos of it so I can upload them. the battery is charged the horn don't want to blow then it has to wait then I take the brake off and it honks.

Did you charge the battery up before putting in the scooter? If you did, did you use a trickle charger for at least 4-6 hours to charge it? Sure sounds like a really dead battery. But do this go to the SOLENOID and with a screwdriver touch both terminals and tell me what happens. Alleyoop

where they sell the battery they charged it right before I picked it up I called at 8am and asked them to charge me a battery I was going there by noon. I got there a little after 1pm. so yea it was charged.

Good point Alley. I'm wondering about his ignition switch. He's losing DC to the horn, starter button, and therefore solenoid...partial short to black wire? You may need to expose the ignition switch so we can do some testing. I would also suspect the ground for the brake circuit, and do you have an electric fuel pump? Rich

could it be a lose wire someplace why would the gage go back down when the brake handle was being pulled on.

Because the brake handle closes a DC circuit that is also responsible for the starter button circuit and that is part of the DC mechanism that supplies the fuel gauge. If you have a short in one of those circuits then you pull juice off of one of the variable resistor wires coming from the sending unit and it pulls your gauge needle off. I'm going to have to go look at a diagram in a minute or see if Mr. Encyclopedia Jack Ryan is still up or is he curled up with the chickens. In the meantime, vac lines...they suck:

I was looking at another post and I saw a little switch that is called a CDI, I was messing with that and the gas gage came up again and after that it was like going realy slow to come up. I saw that when I put the key on then hit the break the gauge would go to empty then I would take my hand off the brake and it would go back up.

I have to wait till tomorrow the guy how is fixing it is my neighbor and he is not at home right now. so I have to wait till tomorrow to do it. but when I can I will and I am going to take photos tomorrow too.
