that pistons awfully scored. wonder if the prev owner ran without oil injection and didnt premix?
as long as it still has compression and runs, id let it go but id say your lucky.

Maybe the carbonization will caused by me until i make the correct premix! Well have compression had previously not know if it will be after I clean and put in place, the rings appear to be new, the picture is a bit confusing but they shine like new, what did you think? will work after cleaning and putting new gaskets? place your bets! Sabo.

I need to put high temperature silicone to have better sealing or just already gaskets is good enough? Sabo.

The new gaskets arrive and put the all in place now the mix is correct and all decarbonized but i pull the throttle and it takes too long to respond, but walk, and when walking, not doing well, it gets worse when you have a ride with me. Has no leaks in the cylinder and has a good compression. This amount of smoke is good? Is a mix of 40:1 Video of smoke pipe --> smoke
Sabo.

I have asked Brent from 49ccscoot.com to come and take a look at this. He is the number one expert in this type of engine. Rich

Yes, two cycles are funny like that. But let's wait till Brent looks at this. JR might be able to do something so he'll look at it and he'll get Brent here one way or the other if necessary. I don't think Alley does much with 2T unless he put them in race cars. How much time do we have Sabo? Couple weeks? Rich

The amount of smoke looks acceptable to me. Hard to tell too much just with smoke since different oils produce different amounts of smoke. At any rate, 32:1 to 42:1 premix is good with most 2T oils. You can get away with leaner (50:1) with some synthetics intended for lean ratios but otherwise leave it to 32:1 - 40:1 premix. I suggest synthetic in all 2Ts. It's a harsh environment (it's tough greatly overpowering the 4T 50s without a dedicated oiling system).
I don't suppose you checked the piston ring end gaps while that was all out or have any idea what the actual compression psi is? You could pull your hair out tuning a carb on an engine that has other problems.

You could pull your hair out tuning a carb on an engine that has other problems. The piston rings apear to be good no cracks or wear and the end gaps too, they are very close, can realy be a problem in exaust pipe cogled by carbonization? The carb was cleaned and tuning but in the same bike he only fits there. About the compression i dont have a precision tool to make a avaliation but put my finger on plug bore and moving crankshaft i have a compression but nothing to blowout my finger from hole, if i stop the bike on a ramp and accelerate it take a lot to move. About the time i have until 05/03 to give the bike for my wife, but i think it will be late. About the premix with less oil she works beter, but maybe already have a problem and only apear with correct mix....MAYBE. Sabo.

I walked a while on the bike yesterday and today i decide to take out the to see whats happening take a look. The plug is NGK B8HS, also i check for compression leaks on cilinder and head and all clean too no leaks or oil came out from there the same thing on the exaust pipe no leaks of oil or anything. A friend give me this exhaust pipe i can put in the bike? Sabo.
