I do not think changing the oil will solve your problem. But will help with overall lasting of what you already have going for you. Sounds like you are going to need to adjust your idle a little bit. A word of advice remember where it was set you can always go back to it. If doing this doesn't solve the problem.

If you decide to attempt to adjust your carb remember if it's like a half turn ect. Start small and that might fix your problem.
