In his defense I have swapped parts to another scoot for diagnostic purposes to see if that finds the problem. You may have jumped the gun leaving with it so soon. I try my best to see the good in people , twowheeler has a point here , however we were not there you were . John

And as do I .. we didn't have a problem with him trying his parts on her scooter we had a problem when we went back to pick it up as planned and they had taken parts off of hers and put on his without asking and was riding around with them on his moped and lied to us about where he got them because his quit workin the day we took hers over there as well .... I didn't leave any earlier than I should have because he put it back together as much as he could ... there was nothing else he could do and we weren't about to leave it over there another night for the whole moped to end up missing ...

1. The First Picture: A. The the connector on the valve cover is the Crankcase Vent PCV and would have a hose on it about 2 feet long. Some would be connected to the AirBox what I tell them is to put a fuel filter on the end of the hose and zip tie it higher than the valve cover. So if it squirts oil out it will not get all over the motor and drain back. B. The little gold connector on the INTAKE MANIFOLD is a vacuum connector and should be a vacuum hose going to some canister or valve if your SCOOTER has any emissions on it. And a Vacuum hose should also go to your PETCOCK or FUEL PUMP that is connected to your gas tank OR someplace before the gas tank. NOW I have to ASK NOTICE on the other side of that GOLD CONNECTOR there is a VACUUM HOSE connected to the Vacuum Connector on your INTAKE MANIFOLD ....WHERE IS THAT HOSE GOING TO. If it is going to your PETCOCK then PLUG UP THE OTHER VACUUM CONNECTOR that is open the gold one. 2. SECOND PICTURE: That hose is your carb drain hose. It is connected to the bottom of the carb. Now if the carb has a screw right next to where that hose connects to that is the shut off drain screw. IF IT DOES NOT have a screw next to where the hose connects to THEN there should be a SCREW on the END of that HOSE..IF is missing the screw on the end then bend that hose and ZIP TIE it otherwise gas will come out of it and empty your carbs fuel. 3. THIRD PICTURE: Those where for somethings that are most likely gone from the scoot SO JUST PLUG BOTH CONNECTORS up DO NOT LEAVE THEM OPEN they will suck in to much AIR and you will have problems adjusting the carb.
