Get your 12V light tester and test each wire when flipping on the low beams that will tell you which wire is feeding the low beam. Alleyoop Great little tool for a couple of bucks to fine wires that should have power or not.

Agreed, you can't always rely on convention for Chinese wiring. It is best to test. That is a copyrighted phrase by the way. Generally, the blue is high beam and also supplies the dash hi beam indicator, the white is low beam, green = ground, and brown is a running light of some sort. Brown is like black, it goes hot with the key. Brown supplies lights that have to come on with the key like the tail light, and other DC lights.

Alleyoop Great little tool for a couple of bucks to fine wires that should have power or not. I remember the last time I used one of these...I slipped while I was testing a battery and somehow the darn thing blew the stuff inside the tester and then proceeded to explode violently into flames, catching my garage carpet on fire. Never again.

He insists on wearing roller skates while doing any sort of electrical testing. It's some sort of insulation thing. On a similar note....what's green and skates? Peggy Phlegm.

HAHAHAHA, First thing it is not for testing batteries, it is for probing the wires supplying power to your lights, gauges, etc.. A battery can put out more than 12volts. Alleyoop

Carpet in the garage? Seriously? Sounds like a dirty joke analogy. We kid Talisman of Gloom, we kid. But does the carpet match the drapes? I'm just asking!!
