i love dry heat... im sick and tired of rain and humidity, ive dealt with that for 34 years. its just very inconvinient. you need to have anti perspirant roll on in your pocket all the time, molds and athletes foot is an everyday life, magoo knows that because he is from florida where its very humid, same as Guitarman who lives in hawaii, an island where humidity is 200%.

im 76 and i still go to the gym and work out. i dont smoke, i dont drink alcohol, i sleep early, i eat balance diet, more on fruits. and when it comes to Sex, i dont discriminate. thats the secret to longevity. romancing with your chinese scooter doesnt replace having sex with your gf.

At 73 years of age I decided that I had been very fortunate while riding two-wheelers. No accidents, no mechanical breakdowns, etc. So I sold my Honda Silverwing last Sunday, and have retired from riding. This forum has been very enjoyable and helpful, especially when I had the Roketa. I hope many more scooter lovers will enjoy the forum and get help in learning what type of scooter to buy, how to do repairs, where to buy parts, and how to enjoy the activity. Funny, when you had your Silverwing you didn't need the help of this forum but when you got the Rocketa this forum helped you with TONS of mechanical problems, you owned both japanese and chinese scooter, now you know the BIG difference on it's quality....., i like how you construct your thread, you put emphasis on chinese Rocketa having too many mechanical problems and that's how it lead you to this forum.....lol anyway, good luck to your new venture, be it a bicycle, skateboard or even a riding lawnmower, the most important thing is that you enjoy what you do...take care!!!

jvino, hello, your vino and my morph are both yamahas(japan breed) both are super solid scooters, even if you miss scheduled maintenance it'll still be running perfectly. because each and every part of our scooters are made out of high quality materials, doesn t weather out when you leave it out in the sun even for a month. and the crankshaft case wont brake into two even if you pound it with a hammer, unlike some scooters i know.

Seriously Luke. When the rear wheel spins only the bell housing spins. The clutch only engages when the engine spins and forces out the engagement arms. Since most Chinese 250s are clones of Honda or Yamaha designs I think the hardened steel gears can take a little 65 mph spinning. Well maybe the Honda designs can. The jury is still out on those Yamaha transmissions. You know how much work it takes to keep them going. wow!! gosh, kZ you have to review the BASIC anatomy of your scooter, you noticed i quote your post because you might delete it after discovering that the bell is attached to the central shaft and the central shaft is attached to the gears which is soaked in gear oil ,supported by bearings and oil seal, ... the CvT is totally out of the story. OMG,, you disappoint me each passing day KZ,,, i think i need to re-orient you about scooter parts and how they wotk.. THINK!!!!

the burden is on the transmission gears because it is turning more rapidly when the backwhee is turned as suppose to when the motor is running and clutch is engaged. just imagine the wear and tear, . gears, oil seal , bearings etc... woooh!!

KZ and everyone else in this forum,
i am very sure that you will all agree with me if i say that Chinese scooter speedometer, tachometer and especiallly odometers are dead INACCURATE. that is a fact, your 20,000 miles can very well be 1,500 miles only in all actuality. especially all you go to is ride around town, and to and from the dollar store. funny how someone brag about something that everyone knows that its not true, he is laughed at in their minds secretly. i dare ang challenge you ALL chinese scooter owners, just out of curiosity, ride your scooter and have someone drive a car side by side, tell him to stop at exactly one mile, youll be surprised when the car stops , you and your scooter are still moving forward to hit the bogus one mile mark. thats how inaccurate chinese odos are.
im proud to say i already have 28000 true blue miles on my morphous.... no cheating like others i know.....
oops!

smell it, brake fluid should smell a bit like petroleum-ish, slime smell like bubble gum... you can very well distinguish them from each other.
