Roy, the Magnum is a blast to ride for sure... If you are out to ride distance or 2 up all the time your better off on the side streets... I just use mine around town any moire or I have to tighten this and that all the time....
John, I know if my Honda Reflex motor was on my Magnum it would run stronger and faster and it is a 250cc but puts out much more HP. The only problem than is the trike would shake rattle and row and fall apart at higher speeds.

I don't remember the jet sizes but for here in Florida stock is right. They are cheap and if you want to put it on an take it off you can get the jets in sets ceap mon line. I got mine at a scooter shop in St Pete. Have you not got your tags yet? By the way my insurance on the Magnum is $97 a year is Progressive and for my Honda, Magnum and Electric Car it is the total is is under $300. I do not know what that wire is but that hose clamp shound be gone and a wire tie on it

I have always used .004 intake and ,005 exhaust. The exhaust was requiring too much adjustments always closeing

Once you get to the fuel mixture screw start it as it is set, let it warm up and set the idle at 1,600 - 1,800 rpms. If it jumps around OK should run at that rpm warm. Than turn the fuel mixture screw out only 1/4 turn. Now it will take a few seconds so give it time and see what the RPMs do, you may have to lower the idle, set mixture till ou get max RMP, than I normaly just lean it a touch. I idle around 1,800 rmps and have 13.7 volts charging the batters so I like it

John it takes a 30mm carb and is the one in the top picture Al posted. You can pull the Diaphragma visual check for tears and holes. I did all that but found that it was at the cheap rubber maniufold and the intake not tight on the rear of the carb from filter box. If you over tight the carb on the manifold you can cut right thru as it is just rubber. When mine had only about 400 miles on it the exhaust valve was very tight. You do not hace to take anything off to get to the valve covers it is fast and easy. If I were you I would first set the carb and idle and run it and see how it runs and check the plug. Learn the scoot befor you try to change everything, at least the basics

Well 60 is not bad... I have trouble with the picture thing. There is only one cap plug on the bottom of the carb, unless your is sealed. If you have one it is on the bottom toward the intake. Just take pliers and pop it off and you will see the mixture screw. I am going riding Monday to springhill, can't find you number but if you home I can swing by give ya some pointers. will carry a few tools so cna help ya set the mixture and show ya how to set the valves it is fast and easy and makes a big performance difference. Yes my seat has the hump, Ican show ya how if you have a drimmal it takes only minutes

When you take the rear deck off you will see were it goes, you looked at mine really good, it will come back to you. Look them up on the web and you will seee the difference in size, in speed it is not much, smoother and softer ride by fare. Speed...nothing fast at all on these little trikes, 2-3mph is all

To cover the hatch I had I just took a paper clip board, mine is the fiber hard board than use velcro. Keep forgetting to get a plastic on at Wal Mart, make that hatch huge and you can even put a hatch sit in bucket. lots of room you gain if you want, than just lift it out when needed

Have no idea what they are from that picture. is it treaded the one on the right?? If so the other may be a cap cover, just a guess. Put the fuel filter befor the pump but place it were you can easy get to it with out pulling any topper ware.

I remember that, cleaned the carb and lost the float pin.... Remember the gas running out the overflow? Wow, some of the crap we go thru sometime... But I over jetted and ran her and in the end I put new jets in but same size
