Ok, If your 2 plug on the CDI has only one wire on the bottom then it is a DC CDI which is fed 12volts WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED ON. Now let me ask what motor is in there the HELIX 244c or the LINAHI 257cc? The Linahi will have one 20A fuse by the starter relay and another 15A fuse by the battery, the HELIX will have a fuse box. So if nothing is getting power then what you want to check is the IGNITION KEY IT SHOULD be getting a constant 12volts. Then when you turn the key on it should make contact usually with a black wire that then pass's the 12volts to other things usually to a PLUG that then passes the 12volts to other things. On the helix the BLACK wire feeds the FUSE BOX. Alleyoop Hello, from what I've read about the komoto it's a Honda cn250 engine. But that was just from another forum about the komoto scooter it self. I'm not 100% sure about the engine. The bike has two fuses. One off battery 10a and one before the alarm module box which is also a 10 amp. If I disconnect each wire connection and check the power wire there's about 12.3v on some and 11.2 on others. The ignition key wires are black. Red. Black/white and green. The red and black wires have power to each 12.3v. Everyone one I have check is getting power. Alleyoop. cyborg I went and replaced the batteries in the key fob and nothing still.

Have not connect accumulator. Employ for forbidden this product" does that make since to anyone. The wires from the module on the bike side at connection are Red/white. Green. Red. Pink. Yellow/red. Orange. Blue. And black. cyborg

something is wrong with the alarm system,,,is the module still in place or was it removed?,,,we had a similar problem with another member a jumper or two and it's running now ,,,,i think you have the same problem,,,get the color codes off of the cdi and coil and solenoid i think you will find these same codes at the plug for the alarm module Ok, I'll have to check it out a little later today. I tried jumping the pink and gray wire with no results. Might have done the wrong ones. The cdi- green. Red. Yellow/black in the large connection and just a Black wire in the small connection. The solienod is a yellow/green and a yellow/red. I haven't got a picture of the coil on my phone for reference but will look later today. The wires to the alarm I don't have a picture of either for reference I'll have to get back later.

The only time I get the bike to turn over is if I jump with solienod with a screw driver. With the key in I get nothing. No lights no sounds when I turn the key. cyborg

cyborg The kill switch has been checked. I also disconnected it and tried, nothing. I have both brakes zip tied until I get this figured out. Thinking that is one thing I haven't checked is the micro switches for the brakes.

cyborg I checked all the ground wires and there are no breaks. I'll have to check again. Alleyoop I read you response to a guy having what sounded like the same problem almost. I jumped the wires like you had suggested in the thread I got nothing. You have any other ideals? Please and thank you.

Hello, I'm a new member and I purched a komoto 250cc scooter yesterday. They guy who sold it to me told me there's an electrical problem and he's not really good with wires and couldn't figure it out. 150$ I couldn't pass it up. . I'm thinking no big deal it's probaly something simple like a solenoid relay or a fuse. Well that where I started. Everything checks out good all the grounds have continuity throughout the entire bike. There's power going to Everything but nothing will turn on. No lights, no nothing, blank. I read a thread from today about jumping the wires for the alarm system and thought for sure that would solve the problem yet still nothing. (Jumped the pink and gray wire)
I jumped the solenoid and the Motor turns over. - still ordered a new one just incase.
Tested the spark plug no spark. - ordered the cdi, and ignition wire and new plug. Will have them Monday.
Also replaced all 2 of the fuses.
I could really use some guidance with this one I'm out of ideas other than a new wire harness.
Is there away to test the ignition key to make sure that correctly working. I tested the wire conector going in and it has power, it's also grounded correctly.
