All these 139qmb stock pistons are boat anchors. From what I have seen. I honestly can not say 100% that a "100" cc kit is bad for the stock bottom end, I am just going by what I have read, and heard on most of these forums. 90GTVert says the so called hunded cc kits are hard on cranks... I trust his word on these scoot engines as if they were gospel I'm the type that backs up my posts with actually hands on experience and documentation, in my almost four years of hanging around three of these boards I've never seen anyone post up the gram weight differences pictures of any of the Pistons other than Me. There is No Such Thing as a 100cc kit for the 139qmb, only in Name are these Scamming Lying Thieves calling a 50mm or 52mm bbk a 100cc and a 105cc. do the math. Genuine 100% Guaranteed Fake Parts.

Pressure as in Cylinder Pressure? If my PSI is the same how is that so? Or do you mean Pressure as in the Extra Weight of the larger piston, pin and rings of the 100cc bore? I mean pressure as in that much larger piston beating on the big end of the crank. The pressures exerted by the repeated start stop of that bigger piston will be higher than the pressures caused by the stock or 80cc piston. We would really need to weigh the overbore pistons to make this claim. I see many QMB-139 BBK's with a Reverse Dish as to keep the OE Compression Ratio the same as Stock in +11mm overbore and +12mm overbore, this will also keep the Piston weight down. Working with some +2mm 73mm product I have is actually 16 grams Lighter than the OE piston I was working with. There is no such thing as a 100cc kit for the QMB-139 Fiddy. only a 50mm at a tad over 81cc and a Bore the cases 52mm Bore coming out at 87.9cc I also have some 61mm bore for my 150, I have a 61mm Forging with a +110 Dome Rise and a Slipper Type Skirt that is 13.84 Grams Lighter than the 61mm Cast Flat Top Piston Boat Anchor I also have. 13.84 Grams is ALLOT on the same 61mm Bore. and my pictures are not uploading, grr, I can provide a link to my thread if ya want.

If there is not a video for what u need here look for videos by 90GTVert. Be careful going with the "100" cc kits. That's a lot of pressure on a stock crank. It can and has been done, it just reduces the reliability a little. The "80" cc kits will boost performance and not beat the crank as much. Remember, you et what you pay for with the Chinese made parts. Autotech55 on eBay sells or sold kits from Taiwan that are a little higher quality. Pressure as in Cylinder Pressure? If my PSI is the same how is that so? Or do you mean Pressure as in the Extra Weight of the larger piston, pin and rings of the 100cc bore?

There is only one cam timing. Both marks even across the top of the head. Besides marks one could use a straw in the spark plug hole to determine top dead center. If you are having trouble with TDC is it possible that you have a sheared key? Or a partly sheared one? Very good observation jct. With the Engine Kicking Back the way its has been its a great way to Shear/Partially Shear a Key. it deserves a lookseee

Lets first start with Make, Model and Year of your Scooter please. Greased the Pulleys? this is not going good. Ive Replaced with Brand New Complete Clutch, Variator, Variator Face, Gates Belt and Open Ankle Biter cover set-up for not even close to $300 bucks. someone/everyone is taking you to the cleaners bro. all the expenditures are Over The Top. A simple Front wheel bearing change can be done in under 30 minutes. whats he charging $160 per hour? The Front Rim Brearing Bores can be Peened in with a Simple Punch,Your Upsetting the Metal all that way around to were it will hold the bearing firmly. its not pretty but gets er done.

Thanks, but I am going backward. I started with a scooter that ran but only went 15 mph. I have now removed the variator and clutch cover and tried to mimic the video to watch the clutch and variator operate. The scooter won'T start. What else am I missing? T. Ok lets start with the basics, Check for Spark, Pull the plug and look see. Next check the the Engine is getting Fuel. If those are a challenge buy a can of Starting fluid Ether, If you have Spark it Will Fire. if it Fires then Dies you have Spark and She's Not getting Fuel. Good Luck!!

I have always looked at a scooter is a local vehicle for putting around town, picking up some bread and milk and fun type riding where you are not on a time table. To me when some one says a "touring scooter" that is like an oxymoron to me. Hell you can even tour on a fat tire bicycle or a pair of keds and a back pack if that's your thing. Amen. My Scoot does the same, Grocery Getter and around town putter.....

Sure has been a more friendlier place without his high and mighty around. That guy had it in for me since day one back in 2013. Oh ya you were fine if you knew nothing, but dang If ya had a clue and tried to help someone he endlessly called me a "Snit Talker" "Didn't know Snit, A"Wannabee" A"fake if he ever saw one" jeez dude its a Motor Scooter why so serious. I am a professional and in the industry at a manufactures level. never tried to impress anybody or put people down but he walnut leave it alone He banned me so many times I have so many aliases I don't even know who I am. I tried to pm him several times to bury the hatched and it would last a couple days and back at me. Heres a thread typical of him coming at me .http://scooterdoc.proboards.com/thread/12556/50cc-70cc-stroke-cylinder-kit Ive been members of many boards of the years and never had a problem with anybody other than the Librarian Ally. He got what he deserved.
