Its a 50mm top end kit so no boring should be required on the bottom end, i would recommend a kevlar belt to deal with the added power. I know the bbk i got for my 50 came with 9g rollers. U may want to get a ring compressor, i know some bbk have the bottom of the jug machined with a slight slope to push the rings in as you slide the cylinder down on the piston, most do not though

The led was just bad, tested it on a friends bike as well same thing and hos headlights are dc fed, ended up doing the h11 swap and im quite pleased, went on a 60 mile ride today to see how bad the heat would be, its a marginal diff from the 45w ba20 bulb i had, and it was over 90 degrees today so i think im golden

Just realized the h11 is a single beam setup, is it really worth losing the highbeam? The h4s im seeing are high and low problem is theyre all 60w

Everything ive seen about leds though is that they scatter light way to much. I was looking at xenon halogens but idk of my housing is large enough to accommodate the heat they put out, especially in nc in the summer

Probably should have noted that my stock bulb is a ba20d/s2 type not an h4

So I've been doing a ton of research on headlights and cant find a definitive answer. I want to upgrade from a stock 35w but dont know what i can put in there that wont melt my housing or be to much power draw
