Let me ask look at the carb on the left side and see if it has the Fuel Ratio Mixture screw available MEANING IT HAS A SLOT FOR A SCREWDRIVER or is it PLUGGED like in this picture: Now airfilter at all I know a little bit because this is my third one I've had two stolen. As far as the screw goes there is no slot for a small screw driver it loos like someone used a grinder and filed it all the way off

Question does it have an AIR BOX? You know since you do not know much about this stuff if you can take some pictures of the Top of the motor and the two sides of the scoot that will help with what you will need. Alleyoop That I know for a fact it does not have one I did take some pictures just not sure how to upload them

A little history on it would help too/ The thread title says "50cc with a 150cc boar (bore) kit in it might need a new carb" First of all a 150 big bore for a 50cc scooter does not exist, at least that I ever heard of. Second is how did your scooter get running so rich? They normally come running very lean. If some one changed jets its pretty easy to take apart to see which jets are in the carb. Third if it is running rich yet starving for air or gas on warm up is the enricher working? It sound to me as there may be several problems. Might be enricher is not plugged in. From the looks of it they filed down the screw to change the fuel mix my uncle's friend said it could be a bad carbut or spark plug maybe even bad fuel. I honestly don't know much about these things so I'm trying to get whatever help I can. I know someone sent me a pick saying the engine type should be on the side the numbers are 139QMB 120376478 I'd send a pic but it's so dirty I tried to clean it so a pic would do not justice. I don't have a tone of money either

You would be the one to find a parts store in Massachusetts WE DO NOT LIVE THERE But what we do is get the parts from EBAY, SCRAPPDOGS just google for the parts BUT you need to know the motor and scooter model. Alleyoop I was hoping someone would know I'd like to at least have a place with fast shipping. It's an Adventure, I know it's running rich in can smell gas I checked the spark plug and it very black I did clean it but of course if it's running rich it won't matter. I have to give it a little throttle and make sure to hold it or it shuts off, once it warms up its fine unless going up hills it comes to a crawl so I'm not sure if it's bad fuel the carb or spark plug.
