We can debate/discuss all day and it will not change the habits of the barge drivers. Anybody remember the one somewhere where some country did the thing of a one day trial of putting the vehicle in neutral at traffic lights? Cap if the barge drivers would do that it would save mega gallons of the over expensive fuels. Mama waiting for their kiddies at school and running the barge for heat or A/C? Phhhhhh mama doesnt care papa buys the fuel. Mama also insists it is not safe for Baby brat to walk home, but then again those mamas are the ones that had their darling daughters in makeup, short skirts, training bras at the age of 9 or so. Anyone can justify anything so its just all in the realm of what they want not what they need. Final soundoff on this is so many of us forget there are incomes that are big bucks and they just dont care about economics, Obama health, and the sad view of not caring about the other guy.

This is a free country, if you want to drive a shoe box then go ahead but don't force me to accept your way of life! The US of A could solve the oil issue by getting ride of all the regulations preventing the exploration and drilling right here at home so don't give me all this baloney about we have turn our life style back to the last century to "save the planet". We have done a pretty food job of cleaning the environment up and still enjoying the American lifestyle. I love my SUV and my scooter. If you want your kids to walk 2 miles to school in 3 feet of snow, then do it. I will drive mine. Ahhhhh snow. Diving kids in that weather is justified because we all know how many rotten drivers are out there and its not safe to walk for them. I remember delivering the morning papars in that kind of snow, it was safe then, not now.

Ok 2 cents more. Vespanpmics, how many of us have Vespas? My last bike JCL150C, $950. far cry from Vespa. Next, Drive one of our old Dakota 4X4, yep two both paid for, 2 trucks gives us a 2 wheel backup. Long trips use the bigger one, if towing, the bike trailer . Shorter trips small truck. Both tucks american made, 18MPG and 24 MPG. (highway) Town driving they suck 12 to 14, so I ride bile. Last month saved about $110.00 on short trips. No brainer for me Bike is a deal!

Ste mine yesterday. Bike was so quier found no lash gap at all and the bike was running terrible. Adjusted them to 19 &24 sounded like a thrashing machine. Adjusted them again using 4mm,still a thrashing machine.but bike runs great, starts right up but sounds like a thrashing machine. If I have to listen to the noise I would rather walk!!! Wondering if the Chinks have revised the settings and we all are in the dark. I have set valves for years from cars and trucks at an early age to airplanes at later age. VALVES ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO RATTLE!!! Thought now, maby im just to old, ain't no valves on a roching chair!!!

After the hard time all of you guys gave Cookees the last time he tried to give you a great deal I'm surprised he's not telling you to utilize the scooters in suppository form. The guy goes out of his way to cut you a great deal and everybody starts questioning warranties, shipping, and if there's a pink bow on top. The last time he ended up telling you to take it down the road to Killer and I didn't blame him one bit. He's a nice guy trying to cut the members some slack, take advantage of it and say "thanks Cookees." Rich Did not see last years but as for Cookie. Contacted him about a wildfire and parts, he was helpful and truthful, which was refreshing. The deal on the CF150 Glory is a great price and a nice bike. I may be wrong but I will go out on the limb here. With fuel injection and liquid cooled I see it as elimination of all the jet changing, enrichner failures, and stuff we go through with air cooled. Ive read reviews on the bike and all the things I have not liked about my bikes seems cured with the Glory. Reviews also indicate it is fast enough to ride on the highway, which air cooled bikes are not. I am not able to buy one right now, ( retrofitting a 111 year old house, rofl cash poor right now), but as soon as I can I will definately go water cooled, fuel injection and I will buy from him. I think he is in da Berg (Pittsburgh Pa.), which is roughly an hour away. I also think Cookie is a busy guy, the posts I have seen here from him tell me he is a no nonsense dealer, the kind of guy we want to deal with. Anyone that is interested in this area that feels wants a used bike 150 cc or a trike 50 cc or a well used contact me and Ill use the money to buy a glory from him. We can not beat this price and quality of the bike, way to go Cookie!

Harley guys at work telling me to save my money and install a hair dryer instead Tell the harley guy you save so much at the pump you can afford the hair dryer now and which one does he use? Been a Harley guy have a lot of T shirts and never ever got above 44 Mpg. I dont ride harletss anymore cause I know when someone is talking about 13 incher they are talking a tire size. Bet your harlet guy had to change his seat cause harlet stock seats suck. China seats are like the pink bunny take a likin and keep on. ROFl Ill finish up with this " Harley Davidson, made of tin ride em out and push em in". or did you ever notice old gas stations always had a wrecker? Thats to pick harlets up when the rider is too drunk to put the kick stand down.I can give you more harlet ammo if he persists. Ive heard em all ;D

From a lifetime of riding motorcycles I can tell you a heavy bike handles bumps much better. It's just a matter of physics, X bump pushes up with say 30 LBs into a 300 LB scooter and the bike's inertia to stay in the same spot is disrupted quite a bit. Do the same to an 840 LB Vulcan and it goes..."eh, what was that?." You've got a 2008 Wildfire 50, 2008 Ice Bear Trike, and 2008 JCL 150C[; nice bikes all of them. However, the deal with scooters is none of them pack much over 20 HP. There's lawn tractors sitting out in front of lowes that boast 30 or 40. My point is, you add an additional 50 LBs to a 200 LB ridier and you've increased their load on the engine by 25%; that's a lot for the little guy. I think these things do remarkably well for what what they have to deal with. Rich Agreed on what they do. Im thinking I misjuged the hill and was not turning my right hand enough considering the weight.

1. Connect unused turn signals bulbs for additional brake lights, redesigned red housing eliminated clear ones and signals are now amber on posts. 2. Filter inside air box is 1/3 the size of box, all the other space is blanked off go to something like a K&N. 3. Better lower exhaust. Upswept desigh causes saddlebag problem. 4. Tach speedo change. Chinameter sucks and it currently has no tach. 5. Open up,hinge the huge plastic cavity between seat and steering. This could have been a flat floor bike but designers were looking for a sportsbike look. I see it as an excellent place for GPS and a custom cup holder, additional light switches. 6.Scrappy variator and assess roller weights. Bike accelerates to 30 to 35 too fast, would rather have a constant pull up to 45 and hold speed better on one of the hills here. 7. CDI change and go to manual choke.Rejet once all this is done. 8. bigger turn signal lenses on rear, don't like the little rubber posts they are mounted on. 9. Finish fab mount for box on back It currently has the one that will not accept a box. 10. Change foot stirrup position. 11. Better tires. Man, don't ask me for advice.....I can't shut up. My kids and wife won't listen to me so this is an outlet! ;D OK, money is no object, take that off the table so we can have fun. - 4: Get a Trail Tech mega speedo/tach/gps/orbital velocity/head temp/body temp/MRI machine. They do everything and they look cool, just ask sprocket, he has a lead that plugs into his forehead.
- 11: Better tires, get the great big fat ones with chrome wheels, whitewalls too.
- 2: The Chinese made that huge airbox with the little filter to smuggle stuff into the country. Use a tupperware container and drill a few holes...see my thread.
- 3; Do exhaust like a Vulcan Nomad, you could actually have a saddlebag bigger that a talking Elmo
- 5: Huh?
- 6: Scrap the Scrappy...agreed
- 7: CDIs are a scam, they don't do anything different. I like the manual choke idea. Add a jet, it makes it go faster.
- 10: You have stirrups on your bike? Kinky there Roy Rogers
- Rewire all lights so they blink constantly, Christmas is just around the corner.
- Make sure you take some pics! Rich
Tupperware contailer??? which thread??? rofl Rich thanks , stirrups, look at JCL150C pic note the foot space plastic comes around feet so I call em stirrups.#5 hunh wasted space

This is for all of you that bungie stuff to the bike. Last night in the rain and dark I realized I needed to share this. It took me a minute or two to park, lock and then detach my bikers bags. I have done this for years, but have never seen anyone else do it so here it is. Figure out where the best spot is to attach bungie cords etc. Buy 4 of the hinge opening things like climbers use for their ropes. WWorld has them for 2 to 3 bucks a pair. When you carry something simply clip bungies to the rings. Saves time and gives you a secure pre-planned mounting system. When I go grocery shopping it allows me to quickly attach the biker bags, and best of all when I get home it allows me to detach grab the handles and unpack in the kitchen. Hope this helps someone.
