It Runs great! I use it everyday... it just should go about 40 to 43 mph, at least that's what I read.... In the US, they restrict these to not go above 30mph, correct? How do I derestrict this model? I had to charge the battery after I took it outta storage, but that was it...
So, no, the brakes are fine... I don't know how to tell if the variator or carb are not working properly?777777777777777

Quick note: I bought this with 5 miles on it from a dealer. I drove it for about 175 miles, then it sat in storage for almost two years....
So, I've scoured the internet, looking to find someone with the SAME exact scooter as mine, in order to determine what I can do to speed it up. Along the way, after learning SO MUCH, I saw people with the same year, model and make of my scooter saying that their top speeds were about 40mph... mine is like 27, on a good day. I'm confused, as I have looked at the CDI and it does not have a "pink wire" people talk about to take out. It looks the same as everyone else's CDI, but no pink wire. I also tried to get into the top of the carboratuer, but the bolts are so small and I couldnt get it open to adjust that either... I CAN if i go pickup the right tools, but I also heard that you cannot adjust this on this particular model... So, here's my info.
2012 Jonway Agility 50cc scooter ... yet it doesn't look like the other Jonway models I have seen. 77( It has about 280 miles on it... ) my dealer, for some reason, wrote on the registration that it was a 2013. On the metal info placard on the body of the bike, it says 2012...

It will only go about 27 mph. It speeds up pretty quick, but going downhill, I can feel the pull as it slows me from going too fast.
My Question is, WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE THIS THING GO FASTER? Even like 35-40mph would be great! I don't want to spend a ton of money on a Bore Kit,,,, I don't need a racing scooter.... I just want to be able to ride in neighborhoods with 35mph speed limits without ppl beeping at me to go faster or get outta the way... Sorry if I'm asking basic questions... I'm trying to learn about this stuff, maybe even have a project scooter to build this summer...
ANY help you guys could give me would be SO great... Thanks for your time,, Nick
