so here is what im planning on doing based on advice you gave me, let me know if I'm wrong in any way picture 1 and 2: so the only ground wire on the engine is this green one that leads to the negative on the battery so is this what I should ground to the frame or sand down? or should i keep this ground where it is and add another ground wire to from the valve cover and have it connect to the frame? Picture 3: would these be good places to connect a ground? and lastly the ground wire that i show in picture one wont reach anywhere on the frame its only long enough to reach the valve cover 1 2 3

so should i replace the old ground wire and lead it to the frame? or just leave the old one where it is while adding another ground wire?

so I'm pretty sure there's a thread on this subject already but i have yet to find one depicting a situation like mine. I own a 2008 xingyue xy150t that i bought from a friend of mine, it was a pretty nice scooter until the problems started. Long story short I ended up changing all the electrical components like spark plug,CDI, stator, ignition coil and solenoid but Im still not getting a spark, but what i was thinking is theres probably a short somewhere but I dont know for sure. A fresh point of view or some suggestions on what the problem is or what i might be missing would help a lot. two things i know for sure is fuel is getting to the engine dont think its a ignition switch problem either.
