it's already been 6 hours and we haven't heard back from suttlebroskie yet....and no "thanks" was mentioned either...hmmm, is this what speedracer is talking about? ....now i know how it feels... back to the topic..... And this comment, is quite ridiculous... Do you not realize, that people have lives, and things come up, and you can't just sit there waiting for a reply.

Welcome to Scooter Doc, suttlesbroskie. No need to open a new thread every time you want to post a question or entry under the same subject. Just click on the 'reply' link and it will open a new message box. Here's a very comprehensive manual which will cover all the basic requirements on your scoot and 95% or more of the repair procedures. More info can be found in our Library. www.chinesescooterreference.com/jr/Generic_Owners_Manual_JL50QT_18.pdfI will look into this, I appriciate it!

Why, I'm sure the dealer where you purchased the scoot would be more than happy to go over all of this, in detail. Or maybe it's in that owners manual "thingy". I bought it off craiglist, no manual included. But thank you.

How do I perform the proper engine maintenance on this model scooter?
Change oil- When? How? Oil Filter?
Air Filter/Air Filter Chip?
Anything else?
