did you notice a difference in off the line pull and or rpm? John I'm going back to the 1.5k spring. I need to know. The belt seemed loose and it was but only for low end. Changed spring much better. I'm at the 13 gram and 11 gram mixed sliders.

did you notice a difference in off the line pull and or rpm? John At 30 mph it will climb a hill better but I am still tuning. I order a tuning set of rollers. I don't have enough to really check them out. I go back to work tomorrow. A lot has changed since I started this process. I've learned a lot. The scooter does do most of what it's supposed to do, no bogging. Goes past 45mph but just barely. It's cold right now. Like 40 degrees cooler. So that's affecting this I'm sure. I did try readjusting the fuel air mixture. This wasn't really out of wack. Very minor adjust, like 1/8 turn out, richer. I have already tried heavier weights, up to 14 grams. Terrible performance. Lows are bad and highs are bad. Tried only 11 gram sliders. Not really sitting in there well. I think they are fakes. But I am mixing the 13 gram and 11 grams. I will test out tomorrow, the drive to work. Maybe it will freaking warm up.

So the 835 appears to be great. Also since it's getting all the way up to outer edge of variator it's also getting to outer edge of rear driven pulley. So the test drive was completely hindered by large amounts of wind that is also cold. I will retest when wind stops.

Hi, new to mopeds and I've run into a few problems! The first off is that during the heat the idle is way too high, but during the colder nights it has trouble starting and wants to die at stop signs. I've changed the air/fuel but neither seemed to do anything. The front (I guess header?) Looks like it's leaking and spitting some oil out on to the bike as well. While checking out the header the ignition coil looks like it doesn't fit on the spark plug, it can just bounce off or easily be pulled off. I've also noticed the headlights are very dim though they get a little brighter when I put on the breaks. I've read a few similar posts but I'm really not sure where to start. ( Oh and the lovely person before me cut off the muffler) . Any help would be appreciated thank you Start with the spark plug ignition coil. It can be adjusted. But might be wrong one. They make different depth caps. I know because I ordered one by accident.

Appears the mileage was listed incorrectly, it is only 1.1k miles. Bring tools open up CVT, check the belt, being measuring tape, measure CVT make the belt is correct size. If long case it should be a 835 or 842 x 20 x 30. Check oil levels, too full, bad, check air filter. Does it bog down at all (carb). Put on stands and check the rear wheel for drag. Rear final gears fluid check, color, etc. Pull spark plug, look at tip. Try the kick start.

So I just got new brakes, new belt, new fuel lines and new cdi box in my beshan vip 50cc scooter but it now won't go over 15 mph and I have to run and push it to make it go that fast I've looked everywhere and can't figure out the problem someone please help what could it be? Is belt correct size, measure it as best you can. Was the old CDI bad, maybe re install. One thing I've learned here is never do more than one thing at a time as you won't know what caused any problems.

835 x 20 x 30 belt coming first, tomorrow. It's a v belt from Amazon.
Have a gates 842 x 20 x 30 belt coming next week. If the 835 x 20 x 30 goes all the way to the top of variator and the rear driven pulley at rest or idle I will return and not even use the gates. However, I'll probably order a gates 835 x 20 x 30.

I hate to be the one to say this...but you ordered the wrong belt. check this link, it and several other sites, state that the 799x19x28, is the belt for the 125cc, Lance, Cali Classic. It only takes a few minutes of searching, to come up with the correct parts for any scooter. Gates Belt It's too short Also I ordered a 835 x 20 x 30

What is your peak RPM at the speeds you are indicating? I get to 7000 RPM's then it goes up to like 45mph and it gets to 7350.

I did order correctly.

I was going to suggest the 835 being you don't have 10 cvt cover bolts. You say you have 9 was one missing (the tenth) or did you maybe count an extra bolt some how. John I counted with it off just to make sure. It's from Taiwan. It's a lance. I'll get a photo of the cover from the inside point of view.
