We found if you use a short length of chain ahead of the anchor line...the boat won't drift so much.

Brought two of the Speedo 150's in and both sold rather quickly.
Cool bike but feels a bit unbalanced. By that I mean the scooter seems/feels short up front. Kinda like driving a VW bus of old. Fit and Finish is top notch. Totally bizarre headlight set-up. Wolf scooters has the same scoot renamed the V150.
Also brought in a bunch of Jakester 150's as well as the Jakester 50. Virtually the same bike with the only difference being the engine. Goes like a bat outa hell...and very nimble.

even if he averages it with the one he sold in May for $31.99...that still a pretty good haul.

Just got our first two SYM Citycom 300i scooters.
Man, what a neat scooter. Took one home tonight and road home on the Interstate.
Pricey at $4699 MSRP... but I'm starting to think it might be well worth it.

Great story! I've been tooling around Pittsburgh on our demo SYM Symba. At 102cc it's a bit more powerful. We have made one small "tweak"... we changed jets from the supplied #40 to a #42. This has made a tremendous difference.

Amen.
Jim is right. For the most part the old adage " The cream rises to the top" applies in this case as well. The quality has certainly improved from 2006.
PS. CFMOTO made a pretty good scooter. Too bad the company is now being run into the ground.

In my humble opinion: Top tier scooters would be the Japs....Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki.
Running a close second I'd put the Taiwanese scooters, Kymco and Sym ( There are a few others from Taiwan, but these two are most prevalent.)
In the next level down, from mainline China, comes Linhai and Znen. Znen-built scooters can be very good as long as the importer spec's Znen's higher quality components. However, Znen will build to any quality and price level you dictate.
Down in the basement I'd put Tao Tao, any of the Jonway family of companies, Dongfang, Peace, et al. An interesting side bit is Roketa. They will buy from virtually any factory and specialize in buying whole inventories. That being said, you can actually find some good deals from Roketa if you take the time to research the WMI and determine the actual factory that produced the scoot.

They never gave the eJewel EFI. In my humble opinion, I think the eJewel was the best scoot they made. ( They really grow on you) Carb'd, so they're easier to work on, comfortable, reliable, classic styling and a blast to ride.

Q. How can you tell when someone from CFMOTO is lying to you?
A. Their lips are moving.

Since the new management at CFMOTO are being a bunch of dycks after pulling the rug from under many scooter-only dealers, it's been problematic finding a source of OEM parts. These guys have stepped in to fill the void: alpha-sports.com/

Kinda reminds me of a joke I heard awhile back:
Q. What do most girls think when they see a bunch of Harley riders?
A. Damm...those guys are OLD !
