Hey just to get back with u sorry it took so long but what u said was exactly rt. The weights had came out of the slots and i had to files a few to round them back up and smooth them out but soon as i did that scooter took off with no probs. So thank you i would have been really upset paying someone 100 bucks or more just to do that haha.

Hey i have a 150cc roketa scooter model tahiti that as i was riding the belt snapped on it. As i took the belt cover off kick started came out of place the bush is broken on the kick starter so i have it removed rt now. I made sure everything turned nothing made any unusual sounds and funny movements so i put the new belt on. Crank it up started just fine gave it some gas no problems until i sit on it and try to ride it. As soon as it meets resistance(the rear wheel) the scooter immediately looses power. When i try to ride giving all the gas it's got it either wont move or barley moves. This continues only up so a certain point, i've found if going down hill it still bogs( i guess u'd say) not not as long and it starts riding like normal again or if i run with it then jump on it and throttle it still bogs but eventually start riding just fine. Ive been told it could be a gas issue which make no sense to me why if it was it was lose power as soon and the wheel makes contact to the ground. fuel filter is fine, replaced fuel switch, checked the gas release plug to make sure carb was getting gas. Check lines and hoses, made sure main air intake hose was on and secure. Replaced the spark plug and coil. I'm at a complete loss..i'm the 3rd owner for the scooter. I found a service Manuel i just found a Haynes book for it(dont have the money to get it yet). I working with limited knowledge here and basic tools i need to know if this is something i may be able to correct myself or do i need to take it to a shop? Thank you n advance for help and advice.
