My YY250T acts exactly the same. A very firm rear brake with little brake handle travel. The front feels softer and has more travel primarily because of the "ABS" unit which dampens the brake action for the front brake only. I get a little squeak from the rear when coasting at low speed, but not when I apply the brake. If the squeak is not too loud and the rotor is smooth, you may just leave it as it is. My YY250T-2 is the exact same as u describe here except my front break squeaks at low speeds think it has a slight warp in rotor. but the pressure is the same with my front and back almost felt like I didnt have no back brake at first till I got use too it but just use both at same time u use more front the back helps counter act with the front to keep u from going over the handlebars!

mine is off about 5 when im doing 30 im really doing 25. then when I get to 50 Im really only doing 40, but then if I am going 67 im doing 55. so mine varies its not just 5mph fast or 10mph fast it starts getting off, then off by more and more the faster I go.

mines way off heres the handle bar mount I got for mine since my scoot has no handle bar showing I mounted it to my mirror, any mount with a 1 and 1/4 inch diameter will work with these popular Chinese mirrors. 19.95 of Ebay for my Tom Tom made by rammounts.com And Scootaway ur the first I have known to have a Chinese scoot with a accurate spedo!

Lemon Pledge or other Multi surface Generic brand of lemon dust spray works great! Been using it now for a little while got caught in one little rain shower and it blew the rain drops right off! Even helps the bugs from sticking!!

Rain X????

My wife uses Rain X wipes on her windshield to combat morning fog from the Delaware River. It seems to work for her and in two years I haven't seen any bad effects. She wipes her face shield too. Now Rain X makes a few products I never heard nothing about not being able to use the Anti-Fog/ Rain X. If thats what ur talking about her using it to combat fog. I am and I beleive Bashan is too talking about the Anti-Rain version of Rain X, that on a car windshields it will all just bead up and blow off in the wind no use for ur wipers any at all! But if she is using the anti rain then eventually it will start to make here shield look smoky or foggy looking and its not fixable she will have to replace it. but yeah u can use it for years and maybe have no ill effects with ur visor or shield but eventually u will or u might after first apply on plastic so Rain-X just says not to use on clear plastic to cover there butt. in cause it does mess it up then they would have to replace ur shield or visor cause they didnt say not to use it on plastic but the Lemon Pledge works just as good as Rain X just think after u dust how slippery the surface is. I also found out it helps from bugs sticking!!!

yeah I had wiring issues and it was still under warranty except Labor . So when I had electrical problems with old scoot they sucked! I broke parts of the plastic stripping it down and I dont do electrical at all really even this mechanic that had a business selling Wildfire scoots here in the town I live in Marion, OH had me pick it up cause he didnt want to mess with it! It was my old Wildfire 150-s. And all it was was the regulator! I just started replacing part by part till I replaced R/R on my own. But really I didnt want to mess with plastics on my new 250cc so for 135$ I got all the wiring gone thru to now complete the PDI and found out the problem was in the pick up coil connector causing scoot to stall when I hit a bump! But also he went thru other things fixed my MP/3 wire hook up, checked all fluids and topped off antifreeze in radiator and add just a little in the overflow he dont fill it near halfway like some do so that way if it overheats it still has a place for the antifreeze to go. And I got a new battery out of it and still kept my old one it is dead need to trickle charge it. My brake light got stuck on again I fixed it once adjusting by the handlebar on the lever but must not of got it tight enough so it came back on staying on drained my battery he just gave me a new one checked it out with the voltmeter to make sure the scoot still wasnt draining it. So for everything I got done and for the price I aint mad. Besides I sold my old scoot and got more room in garge and said I would use that money to get this problem fixed right. Besides I had other things to do for a week any ways here at house before winter hits hard. Plus it was pretty cold here so wouldnt really of rode it much any ways so figure Id get it fixed by the mechanic who's fixed tons of these scoots and everything is great now! Instead of me working on it. I mean I know engines can do work but not electrical! But I was picking it up, not riding it there every bump I hit was stalling out the scoot so we took it down in my friends truck. It was in the 70s and a beautiful ride. I got it in Mansfield Ohio about 45 miles from my house I had a little interstate driving too for about 10 miles. But Jr. and Bashan have already helped me out with a few other issues I had so they needed a break any ways! LOL

glad Im short I wish my shield was a little smaller I have to look thru it cant see over top of it but it defenitly helps! I had a 150 that had no windshield and I always thought I wouldnt want a big goofy looking windshield but I love it! I will never own another scoot or Motorcycle without one, like u said with out that constant force of wind right on u , u can ride longer with out getting more fatigue and always a plus as a BUG stopper I have yet to have to clean off one bug from my helmet! Now on the 150 without shield was always cleaning off bug guts! That does look cool fubar was it expensive I like the fact u got the shield to protect ur hands, been chilly here in Ohio and a shield like that would defenitly keep my hands warmer! Wonder if I can get one like that for the Bali 250/Jonway YY250T-2 and how expensive it would be?

Rain X????

face shields yes. good way to see if you like rain x and worst case it will cost you a new face shield. john That would be fine with my old scoot the wind just took the rain right off my face shield but my new 250 has a windshield and Im not tall enough to look over, so I have to look thru it. I use a good car wax on it but the rain just bubbles up, and I cant see unless I poke my head around the windshield then the wind blows the rain right off my visor dont know why it dont to the shield. I clean both with the wax? But have to say the dust spray like pledge does work great been putting it on shield and waxing everything else. I guess makes since it makes surfaces real slippery, so the water wont bubble up and stay on the windshield. Still think I will stay away from Rain X heard on clear plastic it fogs it up and u cant do nothing but replace the shield and Pledge is cheaper then rain x anyways!

Well trip went Great! It was a 45mile journey from my dealer to back home. The Mechanic my dealer has, hooked me up and went thru all the wiring found out my problem was with the pick-up coil connection. He also went over the scoots fluids and did some break adjusting for me. I now actually have good brakes! But for everything he did I was happy with the price! Was a really nice trip, now that all the wiring has been went thru and I know the motor is running good I trust it more to go on longer trips! Just too bad winter is around the corner, but still suppose to be nice tomorrow so def. going to be riding all day! have to check out what the Tag is on scooter tag love playing that game just been absent with the cold weather in Ohio and then scoot being in the shop. Hope I maybe can get a good tag tomorrow! One thing I noticed is my scoot is running better then it ever has! So I wonder if the pick-up coil connection was bad the whole time not giving the motor the spark it needed, and now it is so its running better? Only thing he really did that I would think would make the scoot run better? But Im happy and now more trustworthy of the scooter. I guess u can say it just got the PDI finished. I hope for some more warm weather to get more riding in before winter now!
