I remember this one, but what I am thinking maybe my trigger started to delay the impulse. Thing is scoot worked before. Of course with misfires in certain intervals:)

put petrol not even single attempt to fire. I am not sure is it important, but all my attempts I took off the head to check for crack. Pulled the valves and checked all head. No cracks. After I put the head back and cranked the engine it started. It worked while I rev, but just left on idle and it stalled. After again the same old story - not a single attempt to fire. It looks like this bike is just doomed. Is it possible to check timing?

Yes, it was in camshaft area. I tried to test compression by finger and it was blown out. Any more ideas? Basically I have spark, compression, fuel, air, valves clearance is done and it still doesn't start.

Hi again, Short update. I was checking valves' clearance when heard strange noise. When piston reaches TDC I can hear the sound which reminds air blows. Is it normal or I do have compression leakage?

Hi, thanks for explain. Yes you are right I did the clearance when the cam sprocket is aligned. I don't thing the problems are in clearance.

Hi, what do you mean get the lobe off? Do I need to take the cam sprocket away? My scooter has around 29000 and just recheck the clearance and it is 0.1.

Yes, it ran ok on high rev and didn't like idle. Carb is checked and cleaned, mixture is set 2.5 turn. Fuel gets into engine as I can smell it and spark plug is wet. Problem is I get spark but it doesn't look solid and thick. I measured stator volts, 37 AC, then I tested resistance. Charging coil gives 300 ohms, trigger 150 ohms. I am out of ideas.

Hi again, I just readjusted clearance, made 0.1 mm. No change, still doesn't want to start. Any ideas?

Problem is my cam sprocket doesn't align at TDC. When cam sprocket is aligned piston is just about to reach TDC. I do my clearance when sprocket is aligned. The gap I set is 0.08 Did I miss something?

Thanks, Is it possible the valves constantly stretches and stays stretched? Thing is I adjusted them three times within 200 miles and now it will be forth.

OK, I will check valves clearance. What about stator, do I need to replace it?

Hello All, I do have problem with weak spark on my GY6 125cc. I tested alternator which gives 37 AC volts, which is below recommended. Then I tested resistance. Charging coil gives 300 ohms, trigger 150. Both are in standard value. My question would be: is it possible to have correct resistance and the charge below standard value at the same time? Plus, week ago I was able to start it just it didn't work on idle, but no problems on high rev. I was able to ride miles as long as I don't let it stall on the idle. Now it even doesn't start, just burps and nothing

Hi again, well I moved one tooth over as was advised and unfortunately no change. Then I decided to check electric side and found my spark is very weak. Does anyone knows how to check CDI unit and other electric parts? I check alternator charging volts and it is 14.1, which is correct.

Thanks for explaining it. I didn¡¦t have scooter before and it is difficult to judge does it goes ok. I can do 50 mph quite easy but this is top speed. Once I did 55 from the hillƒº. The blow is harder on top speed, in the beginning I thought something is loose and just bangs into bottom. On the idle it just ¡§blows¡¨, ¡§blows¡¨, ¡§blows¡¨ and stalls, unless I increase idle to 2500 rpm. If I let to stall, it is difficult to start engine again.
