I checked the diaphragm and it is installed properly. I also ran a compression check at WOT and it read 180#. I will try and get seafoam in there in the next couple days.

I will check the diaphram and see if it is installed properly. the jets are stock. I will try the seafoam and see if that helps as well. its raining here so I wont be able to road test it until tomorrow.

I have Attempted to richen it up and lean it out adjusting the screw 1/4 turn at a time. It seems to run a little better a touch richer but it doesn't come close to fixing the problem. I have adjusted the screw until the scooter almost stalls because it is too rich and too lean as well as everywhere in between. Could it be the valves? Or possibly me screwing up something when I cleaned the carb?

Other thing I just checked was the spark plug and it looked very lean. It was a very light greyish white color.

ok heres what i was able to get it to do. I gave it between 3/4 and full throttle to get it to act up. then i backed off about a 1/4 inch. it definitely didnt start accelerating quickly like I think you mean if it is a lean condition, however it didnt sputter or hesitate either. basically it just leveled out but didnt really gsin much speed.

I have just gotten a 250cc honda reflex. it seemed to run fine when I got it but after getting a feel for it i noticed it had a pretty bad hesitation off of the start and almost anytime it was under full throttle. whenever I open it up it seems to fall on its face and sometimes it sputters as well. it doesnt stall but just doesnt go until i let off the throttle a good bit. I have just pulled the carb and soaked it in carb cleaner for 48 hours. I have cleaned all of the jets and used air to blow everything out really well. I have also adjusted the air/ fuel screw and I just cant get it to run like its supposed to. any ideas of what to do would be awesome

I looked at the reflex today and it is in almost mint condition. I am going with it for $2400. It is not quite as peppy as the sym but my main reason with choosing it is the fact it is out of warranty and I can tinker with it. (Also the sym came to around 3800 or so after taxes and prep) I'll post pics of it in the next few days

I am curious if anyone can tell me if this is a good deal worth looking into. I have found a used 2007 reflex 250cc with under 4000 miles for $2800. it looks to be in good condition from the pic. does this price seem a little high? kbb says the dealer price on it is around $2500. I was looking at a sym hd200 evo for 3600 new but I would much rather save a $1000 on the honda if it is a good option.

i checked the calipers and they are definitely tight. it needs new pads soon but I wouldn't think needing new pads would cause the rattle?

I have a really loud rattle coming from my rear brakes at speeds over 35mph. I have located what is making the noise, The rear caliper. for some reason it is very loose and rattling.
my brakes are disc front and back. 2 pistons.
1) my first question is there an adjustment I can make on these calipers? 2) I have looked everywhere and I can only find front calipers for this scooter. they are definitely different from one another. is there an online vendor that sells the rear caliper?
