I have a 2012 300cc reverse tike, made by Dong Fang in China. Since I got it, it has had multiple problems, which I fixed myself. I got it to start immediately, go 60 mph or more, not wobble, etc. However, after a while, the engine would shut off at about 55 mph, but come back on at a lower speed or if I stopped. It would do that about every ten minutes or so as I went down the highway. I figured it was not getting gas at high speeds, but before I could work on that, it would not start anymore. Both the ignition system and the carburetor checked out. After a month of working on it and replacing parts, I gave up and took it to a scooter repair place. They have had it most of the summer. The last report I got was that they got it to start and run around the building just fine, but when they turned it off, it would not re-start. They also checked the carburetor and said everything was fine. Now they want to return it. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Since I don't think they drove it over 55, it may still have that problem, too.
