Beachbum, Like a said, long story. Took it in to shop i bought if from to get it tuned up, gas mileage increased by 50 percent but then the engine burned up in a week.. 9 months later after waiting for them to fix the motor, decided to give up and fix it my self to make the wife happy :-) Thanks, will look up mainepeace/Greg. BTW, I thought it was a standard GY6 but will take it out to verify. Alleyoop, Thanks for the advice, will take out the motor and look up the numbers. Dave

Hi all, trying to get some help here on my Roma 150 scooter. I bought it new in 2011 and 6 months later the engine blew out (long story) and I took it back to the shop where I bought it and was told they couldn't find a motor for it? It has basically been sitting around for like 9 months now and my wife is giving me a hard time but would like to get it running. Since the shop said it was a special motor and I should be careful which one I get, I was wondering how do I get a parts list for this motor scooter or does anyone have any advise on getting a replacement motor for this bike or if it is even worth getting and just throw the thinng in the garbage like my wife says.
