Alley, I have a foot brake for my rear brake. It's unfortunately not the same switch. I may have to rig something up like the Dr. said.

I have to ask: what's with the milk crates recently? Is it a trend I'm missing?

Like I said alley, I ended up losing the cable. I can only describe it as that switch but without the rubber housing and with a plastic connector that goes to the bike.

It's just like that, but mine was stripped down and VERY skinny. The wires were put into a plastic connector (may have been done by the precious owner). The little plunger was literally all there was, not even the plastic/rubber housing. Is that housing removable?

When I first got my scooter, I took the front off and was messing with the front brake switch, and I ended up breaking it, and then losing it. The switch was a cable that was plugged into a plastic housing, and then the cable went to the brake handle. When you pulled the brake handle a small spring would push a small piece of metal out and somehow that would turn the brake light on, and when the handle was releases it would push the little plunger back in and apparently break the circuit. Anybody ever see what I'm talking about or was I dealing with some sort of weird custom part? I simply can't find a switch that will work for my front brake..

Shall do, as soon as I can get the front tire/brake off o.O I found a video for getting the back tire and brakes off and such, but not the front (especially because they are a drum).

So apparently I have glazed pads, huh? How do you remove the front drum? How should I unglaze them?! Is glazing the reason my brothers bike barely has any stopping power? How will I ever know? Tune in next time for the next episode of "BRAKE CRISIS" next week on Saturday (9/8c)!

Yes, both brakes on mine and my brothers brakes are drums. I adjusted my front brake and now I have sufficient stopping power. What would cause my front brake to shudder the whole bike, though?

Is there any chance that the front brake on my scooter could be a drum? I'm pretty sure they're all disc, right?

Compared to my back brake, my front brake doens't work very well, and I feel like they should work equally. What should I look at to get my front brake working fully?

I went ahead and cleaned the air filter. I took the enrichener off and put my thumb over the hole and started it. The enrichener worked as intended, extending after a little bit. I let go of my thumb a little bit to let air get in through the enrichener hole and my idle increased as my finger lifted. Is it starving for air?
Edit: it runs perfectly without the enrichener in place and is not starving for air when the enrichener is not on. Idle stays smooth and doesn't drop with a twist of the throttle. What now? Also the intake manifold is not wet with fuel.

putting it on the side stand, walking away and it rolls forward because of a imperceptable decline. off the stand and on its side it goes. My brother has the same issue. His side stand isn't worth crap! His bike has taken a plunge because of that stupid thing, so now he will only put it on the center stand!

I was thinking last night. Could a clogged air filter cause an always rich situation?
