Hi everyone,
Today i was on my mates house on his 50cc Generic Race cleaned the carburetor and got new petrol and starts good but the indicators stopped working for some reason. When i move the indicator button is making a noise that is coming from the relay.
I checked all wires took out and plug in and still didn't work. Any suggestions?

Basically my mate got his moped into a garage and instead of them fixing the problem with the Fuel Pump, so they got a homemade fuel pump with the fuel line straight to the carb without fuel filter or anything. So i gone store and got a fuel line the guy in the store gave it as he asked £1 for it and my mate had a brand new fuel filter and i dropped some fuel into the vacuum line & closed a bit of air mix on the carb and now its all working. for my mates moped to pass on MOT he needs a new rear break lever as its lose on the mount on the handlebars so when the lever is back to normal place, the break light is on and when i break it the light is off, so i checked the wiring and it was all bless so just needs a new lever and the moped is perfect.

Hello,
Basically one of my friends got a generic race 50 scooter and when you kick start the moped it won't start if does it takes ages, If i spray Easy Start then with one kick start it starts up and then i try rev to keep it up and then it dies.
I found out that the fuel line was not the correct one so i gone to the store and got a new fuel line to replace it, will give a clean on the carburetor today and try it.
I start with electric button and it still takes some tries, to start it up.
Any advice guys?

Advice : i would just replace the parts it needs to be fixed for example spring. because many times electrical will fail and you can start your moped with kickstart. Flat battery in that case you will be walking along with the scooter on your hands.

Is this a common problem that Chinese scooters gets, failing at spark? But i am thinking its my Coil because i should get 1 or .1 Ohms and im getting .3/4 Ohms
the 2 nipples green and black coil the results are: 00.4 OHMS.
Red lead on the green nipple and black on where the coil screws in = 00.3 OHMS.
Red lead on the green nipple and black on cap = 00.8 OHMS. At 20M OHMS

Yes, motor has to be grounded otherwise no spark. Have you checked to make sure the cdi is not being grounded? Best way is to take the KILLWIRE off the CDI. The Killwire is the TOP WIRE on the 2 PLUG SIDE of the CDI, it is usually BLACK/WHITE stripe. Alleyoop Yes it has that Black/White cable, i have removed it and i have my battery on charging over tonight, so tomorrow morning i will try it and keep update.

The readings look good as far as I can see. I can`t see from your first post if you`ve replaced the ignition coil/lead/cap. Also have you got a good earth between frame and engine ? Also I am going to explain what i can see, I see a black cable going from the engine to frame then to the battery with a grey wire that comes from the wiring loom to the battery. is that what you mean?
