I ended up taking off the variator, and found that the roller weights were flattened on two ends, and as you can see by the image, one of the guides from the blackplate somehow was broken off, which allowed one of the slides to fall out and apparently disappear! When I took it off, this is how it looked, and where that guide was, the metal from the back plate was touching the bare metal of the drive face.. I've ordered a whole new assembly with weights, I'm going to assume that will help. Thanks all for your assistance! www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153035832920232&l=9daeda6fda

They seem to be in good condition, but one of the plastic clips that sits on the edges of the backplate (there's three of them) seems to be missing a portion.

Model: Tomos Nitro 50
When I first bought the scooter, there was no rattle, but now, there seems to be this rattle, perhaps coming from the crank case. It almost sounds like metal vibrating.
I have have the CVT cover off, and checked the clutch. The inner bearing (radial ball bearing) seems to be slightly worn, and the needle bearings are fine also. At high speeds, could this cause a rattle?
The rattling does stop when you stop, and will make the sound when throttling and holding the rear brake.
