Yep! She's officially mine, just finished up at the DMV. Talking about some pep! I took it up some of the steepest hills we have in my neighborhood and it flew. I'm guessing this bike is still in break in period with such low miles? What do you guys recommend I do differently during this time?

Thanks! I'm going in the morning to check out a wildfire 150. Only 200 miles on it! Any thing I should be looking at specifically on this bike?

I've been considering it, jennings. You're right when you say they arent much more. Some crazy drivers around here too. Then again most of the roads i'm going to be on have a speed limit of no more than 45mph.
Another question I have, has anyone had any experience with the scooter/motorcycle hybrid bikes? You know the ones with a scooter engine but a sport bike body? I've seen a few of them but know almost nothing about them. I had a friend in college that had one and he seemed to like it but it was new at the time.

Glad you or the bike wasn't seriously hurt! Turkeys are it pretty often around here and they can do some serious damage!

My two cents here. I have a 71 yamaha at1, 125 two stroke. I've had two of them and both ran like champs. You can't beat them for a first bike, in my opinion. They are old though and the look is def not for everyone. Since you are in the UK i'm not sure that's an option though.

I found this while surfing around youtube this morning. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did. Hope I posted in the right place, debated on putting it in the museum but wasn't sure.

I just noticed today while riding my odometer isn't working. Actually the only thing that is working is my fuel gauge. The lights inside them are working, just no movement. I looked inside the panel and everything seems to be hooked up with no loose connections. Ideas? This is on my Tao by the way.

Def no touring for me at this point. A few hours on the back roads is my dream. I've found a few long wheel base china bikes in my area in my budget. Actually found a couple really cheap but a test drive could prove them to be cheap for a reason.

I live around an hour from there. When I upgrade to a bigger scoot, I plan on heading there.

This guy is very basic with the pro's and con's of longbase vs shortbase but judging by what he says it seems like I'd like the long more for what I'm doing. If nothing else, just for the comfort factor.
