Have you made close inspection of your frame for mount locations? I'd say go for it if it is possible, red.

The idle adjust screw is located on a bracket on the throttle wheel. When you look down on the carb facing forward, it's on the right side of carb. Turn cw to increase idle, ccw to decrease idle.
